The new menu looks great and it makes me want a map set during night. Would be even better if you could choose time of day for all maps. It would be harder for both Predator and Fireteam.
Nighttime maps would be great

How did you get that main menu screen? I have a different version where predator is on top of a log holding a skull.
It rotates images.
One thing I thought about just now was how you could add different gear for night builds. If they had night goggles/flashlights and the ability to edit your gear in the briefing lobby I think that’d be pretty sick and tbh a good quality of life improvement.

There a 2 different ones. Changes after match or starting the game.
You mean simply changing the lighting to a different time of day like many good games do? Sure. These devs will get to that in a year or three.
James Cameron has wanted this since the beginning. They could just randomise it so you occasionally get dropped in at night.
Changing the games lighting is just not that simple man… trust me I know. It takes a lot of work just to replace the sun light alone, on top of that you have to bake the whole map which takes a long time after you make a small change. Considering lighting is baked for faster performance and is needed for static shadows which im sure this game will use due to all of the foliage they will need to practically overhaul the whole map.
I don’t think they need to do all the maps as night maps. (Maybe over time)
I am very interested to at least try a darker version of one of the existing maps, probably Derailed as it give you the option of having a large chunk of it lit up.
I think it being to dark to see the Predator might be a possibility but if it is then lit paths with patches of shadow in between might make it manageable if tense. You just need to stay in the light.
They could do it with one map.
James Cameron plays at least a dozen night maps in the Cameron edition.
There’s more than two different images or are you implying something else.

i think a mod like that will be implemented if they will add mr.black falcon and tracker and the map itself from the movie :))
