Quickplay is still crap this game is more of a novel thing to do with friends 3 maps make it boring and with these patches pred is op which makes it not fun, 2 hit with a combi stick at 140 health is bs most quickplay lately has been with ft players who are potatoes on my team and the match is over before it really starts if you make 2 minutes you’re lucky its hella dumb. You make challenges that encourage ft play but without having decent teams they’re not achievable, I now only play private matches for veritanium to get unlocks but hardly want to even play your game I talked friends into buying it and they agree that quickplay sucks because preds are op the slam through objects is bs making it so you cant try and bait the predator into the doorway while mission objectives have you stand inside and a slam through the roof being able to kill you makes doing a mission in quickplay pointless I get that its predator hunting grounds and I’ve been playing since April 24th as fireteam almost exclusively I have bagged the predators multiple times before these patches or even exfiled but now it seems neither happens ever making quickplay pointless in my opionion, I fear I’ll maybe play once in a while do to these things but the fine line of balancing still needs work though with most of the feedback I read I doubt it really will get there ever

Pred is not op. You cant go off of people who dont work together or communicate.
The roof slam most likely needs a slight damage nerf.
Combi and wrist blades take the same amount of hits to down a person, I can show you if you like.
I’m glad that’s how you feel but that’s not how I feel about it before the 2 patches it wasnt nearly as bad against the predator
Combi stick is the melee weapon that deals less damage…
Quickplay FT is full of kids.
And yet I was just in a match where I was downed in 2 hits from it, there is a fine line for the balance and they haven’t found it yet, it may have been more then 2 hits when I think about it but the effective range in the combi stick makes it hard to tell how many hits I took it still seems awfully fast considering I unloaded 2 clips into the predator with xp coming off it and I still end up dead, meanwhile the potatoes weren’t shooting it at all, the damage that should be dealt with 2 clips or 80 bullets from the hammerhead shouldn’t leave the pred the ability of a frontal assault with no fear

Ok without throwing a wall of text at me, can you pin point exactly what’s different for you now? I dont mind a long explanation but when you dont separate after a few sentences it gets a bit hard to read.

If they are PS4 teams then I can appreciate that, it’s rare to come across a good one unfortunately. This + the dreaded spam spotting issue = a warped image of an over/under powered Pred/FT.
In the end, the skill of the players involved is a massive factor, one which a patch will never be able to solve.
Make bots Illfonic and replace FT members who leave!!! Also would be good to choose to play against bots on different difficulty settings That might solve some of the skill problems actually

You really don’t angry boi, there’s an objective radius area and it extends further than the building for the timed missions. You’d know that if four of you weren’t in some little shack with no windows trying to funnel the AI through the doorway with two medpacks on the ground.
Combistick kills slightly slower than wrist blades btw with the swing time and is much easier to parry.
not to mention u can parry it on the sides lol…
Some of the AOE is right on top of it not in a radius outside the buildings like the pump station on backwater with 3 valves and a computer to operate you cant be outside to operate that computer, another mission same map with the butchers shed the small AOE makes you sit inside obviously not all of them are affected by that but enough to make it fucking irritating, and dont go making assumptions you dont know me where I live or anything keep your assumptions to yourself ass
What a conundrum one of you goes inside to do the objectives and everyone else puts the predator in second wind as soon as it lands on the roof locked in place and fully visible? It’s like you’re not 1v1 against the pred or something and have a team.
If you find the idea of that irritating its never going to be a walk in the park sry.
Unfortunately it usually hasnt been that way, but go ahead and defend the pussy way of getting a kill by slamming through the roof maybe my game isnt the one that needs some stepping up but rather the preds that complain until they have busted shit that makes them superman need to get better
