The no man’s sky of today is a completely different game to what was released, I played it on vr but without the motion sticks it’s not as good, but to look at and explore in really is amazing. I would imagine after the origins update its even more in depth

For sure. So many crazy new variations now that are incredible to explore in VR. Bet the planets with huge ass mountains are beautiful in VR.
I’ll wait to pick this up again once I grab VR. The cycle of mining stuff so you could upgrade things so you could mine more stuff was a weak gameplay loop to me, wasn’t much to do aside from crafting content padding.

Fair enough. Mining gets greatly reduced later on in the game. Instead you can just outright buy most of the materials you need. And grow them.
