I think it’s a big mystake if illfonic doesn’t release more maps. So i will stop the game for august.

The game is fun but he’s dying because of no real support of devs…

+1 on this. No new maps or game modes + a 150 level already reached = what’s the point?
I played it too much from Day 1 I guess.
Then stop the game. It’s highly unlikely they’ll drop such a free update with a paid dlc in general and they even said there will just be more info about new map and mode on the 28. july.

Same, all of my teamate except for one (that as the same opinion of me) have dropped the game. I really hope they will add something interesting because the game is getting bored more and more since there are no ranked system, statistics or new things to unlock.

Guess your going to be taking a break then. for $40 all we got was a trial version of the game, they released it too soon and not complete in order to get some money before FF7 Remake Dropped.

Even if we get new maps it wont be long before people realise that said new maps only exhausterbate the core gameplay issues more and solve nothing.

In general for those who are unaware… both predator and fireteam gameplay feels very narrow and limited… by like 40%

Both teams are shallow, and adhere to the most basic of assymetrical design philosophies. And because of that unoriginality, we will always have massive balance issues, until said core design is reworked.

The day will come soon enough where either they will have no choice, or they will have made the choice too late and the game fades away. I hope they dont wait too long.

You can hope for optimization and new mechanics, but a “rework” as you call I’m pretty sure won’t happen. Also we’d have to test and play the rework you imagine. Things that sound good on paper, might play out different or cause new problems.
Shit takes time to make, it doesn’t appear out of thin air. We won’t see any maps/modes this month but Illfonic has said they’re working on them and getting crossplay invites.
I think next month we’ll start to see these things.

For sure, however because of the different foundation for balancing the game, everything will become exponentially easier to balance.
