No salt here ha

I am not hating just curious as to why illfonic only have 70 plus employees and they’ve been going now for 13 years??

they’ve got 3 studio’s and they did a wonderful job on F13 and their other work wasn’t great but for a small dev team what can you expect. they have done a great job on predator hunting ground but they’ve got sony involved in this so surely this will help the game to grow and the studio and rep of illfonic?

13 years later 3 studious and 76 employees and still only AA hmmmm what have they been doing wrong to not be a AAA studio?

doing niche games like predator and friday etc…

But i for 1 am glad for companies like these that do the passion projects.

Im invested in star citizen too and thats a passion project

yea its funny these AA studio’s tend to give us a game that reminds us of games we use to play and these big aaa studios tend to remaster games to line their pockets not a bad thing but i feel aaa games sometimes lacks the passion of aa games

Becoming AAA isn’t everything as there are indie developers and very small teams that make fantastic games with far better reception from the player base then Hunting Grounds has received. There are pros and cons to it all as Sony being the publisher they could have pushed the game to be released earlier than the devs actually intended, but who really knows other than them.

It’s a fun game with a lot of problems. I hope it gets better but only time will tell.

Why does it matter what the studio is

It matters what kind of game we are playing

it doesnt matter. i am just curious

you should ask them straight on what there goal is if thy want to stay small and not relay on corporation money from sonny to become a triple A these times you need money to become big that why i love small indie developers that make great games not pushed or limited by the big corporations
