In the beginning we didn’t know how to play.
After we learned we saw that this stratagy sucked.
Hunter was the best class because of its stat economy.
The bow was the best because it’s DPS was powerful if you were good enough to aim it, while also playing from range.

I have since moved on from the combistick. That post was literally after my third game back. It still worked for me, but I have since moved on to the Norse hammer working my way up to the axe.
I have had no problems playing how I’ve always played.
Look at it from my view. You leave a game for over a year and decide to come back and try some of the new stuff, that doesn’t work even after a good bit of practice, if you can even call it practice given how laggy the game is. So instead you play how you used to, all of a sudden it works near flawlessly.

Not an argument just an FYI.
Half of the new stuff are melee weapons, Katana being the best, but in general melee is garbage.
Samurai is a better Zerker don’t see how your not getting success.
City hunter is a worse hunter but still viable (within context of the game if course)
Forgetting about his specific specializations I haven’t messed with those yet.
Elder is a downgraded hunter.
His only use is his specializations, which are unique outside of Vicious with Viking.
Valk and Alpha are better scouts and are quite viable.
Viking again is a better Zerker.
I don’t see how your losing with the new classes unless your also trying the bow with these classes and you haven’t gotten used to it.
Only because the majority of FT are bad.

Last time i played with scout melee with elder sword and gave fireteam good match without using any long ranged, not sure what is an issue here. Took 3 down, let them reinforce and only 2 escaped with chooper. I dont like doing stuff too easy, using plasma caster, pistol or bow feels sometimes overdoing, have to give fireteam some changed for them to enjoy match. And i am ft main. Used disclipined perk and when close of fireteam, cloacked, vision Off, trying not to run too much to give position running, they can hear your footsteps if they have headphones. I used to use lot of leaping too, but its way more fun to run to cover than leap over enemy and try shoot back.
For this type of game play you need to think more and use less brutal approach, scan targets, kill seperate mission runners first, and you need to have good understanding where every soldier is, how fast they can come to shoot you if you take one down etc etc.
I just rekt a team with the club. As a zerk. No bow. No axe. None of the cheap shit. I will admit, the previous match I was bugged out and couldn’t heal, because no boars were spawning, so I let them fellers get away.
However, this is like the fifth time I’ve wiped my ass with the skulls of my enemies, with the most dookie weapon in the game. And I almost never play Berserker. You can literally use anything on Zerk with minimal punishment. I’d actually argue that using the war axe is the most punishable weapon for a Pred to use—period.
Zerk doesn’t need it. There are far better options. I personally don’t use the combi stick, but at least it isn’t as risky as bringing down the guillotine. And if you’re trying to one-hit-kill with the axe on samurai using ghost spec, you’ve got doodie britches.
By the way, props to that team I just faced. The Dutch roar was epic.
