NOW I understand why playing as pred is so easy!

After almost 3 months I’ve finally started playing as FT to see what is like being on the other side.
I’ve been very impressed by the way some FT players act during the match.
They simply run ahead from other FT members and go to places like crazy without wainting for the rest and get easily downed (of course) by the predator leading to imediate disavantage as they try to save him and most of the time get downed in a obvious trap.

What do these players think? Do they think this is a crazy racing game to get to the next prompt before the others?
Do they think they are robocop in this game?
I’m really disapointed by the lack of cooperative play in most games I’m in.
You turn your back a sec to mud up or to get to a weapons case and they are far away from each other!

For example. There was a match today where there were only 3 of us left and the message to go to the exit point at the train wreck appeared.
One of the other two players simply went out alone running to the other side of the compound (very close to the exit point) while we were standing against a wave of pmcs and them he gets downed by the predator there and killed (no resistence of curse cuz the idiot was so alone in another point).
Them the pred simply took the oportunity (cuz we were so busy standing up against hordes of heavy pmcs) and killed us in a sequence.

I really think there should be a FT tutorial mode as well mainly for newcomers or/and a rank system to separate players from different skills.
I know how powerful we pred players become when we get one or two FT members alone, but these players don’t!

I would like Robocop’s gun… Beretta 92R I think.

Three round burst would be nice against the armoured AI.

Those are my games with randoms most of the time. If I see 3 PS players (I am on PC) I think to myself that I need to pull for the entire team. There are many games when I end up doing 10 times the damage to the predator they do. Its not just the controller making them weaker, its the fact that the majority of PS players tend to be far more casual then PC players. They have always on mics (that I have to mute) that also give away our position.

Tutorials are not going to help, I assure you of that. What would help is skill based que but as the ques are right now, predators would NEVER find a game.

Even the best preds on PC don’t turn off crossplay to get people who put up a fight, instead they end up with 1 PC player + 3 PS players and he completely destroys them.

Totally agree, a skill rank system is needed

Tired of playing with noobs and people who doesn’t know what to do as the ft

But even a good fire team it’s still easy if you know what you’re doing I do nothing good play Predator so I learned how far teams play they all make the wrong play at a certain point use it to your advantage… but it does get difficult sometimes when they just hurdle inside of a building but there’s easy ways to get them out

There is no tutorial in the game , no real statistic for weapon , no real stats for class (dutch has same speed stats of assault but he is faster instead, you can try by your self) and also the mic works so badly sometimes it works sometimes not. Not to mention how easy is to play predator with the brain dead melee with awesome tracking, like in any other game there isn’t this accurate tracking. I think as well as the tutorial we nered a rework of some things: reinforcements because are broken for high level experienced players, and melee because it is too brain dead for low level players and hard to react with perry for noobs of course.

This game needs reworks from top to bottom but we are never going to see them… At best some tweaks and that new map and new game mode… Of course the paid DLC, can’t forget those!

Because you got gud?

Ft gameplay : lower you graphics to minimal. Go take high ground with two support with sniper rifle. See the predator coming point. Click. Ez win.

I believe the FT tutorial would help cuz this is not an ordinary FPS game
and I believe many casual players go in and play it as a COD game where most modes don’t require cooperative play and comunications.
So the little cubs go out in the jungle by themselves, become barbecue for the pred and leave the other FT members in disavantage.

There’s no way a pred can win a game if the 4 FT players stay close to each other in this game and I’ve said this too many times before in this forum cuz this is the ugly true for pred players!
But I’m not here to talk about the pred side this time, so I believe a tutorial could help.
It could be a tutorial mission like the pred’s one where the player goes on in a squad formed by himself and 3 other computer controlled FT members.
Area markers could appear along paused messages informing about the safe distances giving tips to these players.

Them we could have a simulated situation of a downed player who goes out by himself and how to aproach the situation (always maintainig the safe distance from each other)
Comunication should also be pointed as being vital for the operation.

I want this game to be a masterpiece one day and now that I’m playing on the other side I can see more stuff going on and I believe is up to the devs to refine this wonderful idea into a memorable and long lasting experience for both sides.

Out of 10 days of play time, I think I had 3-4 games when some people went above a building and tried to snipe the pred.

Oh and its not an easy win, not if the predator is good. Its hard to win as the predator but in no way is it easy win.

Depends on your skill level. We have countless videos around here of predators owning people that stick together…

if they’got good aim and know about their loaudout, it’s almost impossible.
Cuz when the pred starts to hit one, the others toast him in a sec.

4 man PC premades of pro players lost to predators. Yes, at that level of play the FT has the clear advantage but normally you should be fine.

thats why I rarely lose a pred game.
And when I say “LOSE” I mean not only dying but simply letting one FT member or more escape

A good pred vs a decent pre made ft doesn’t stand a chance if the ft has good aim and knows what their doing, bad fireteam vs decent pred the pred wins too easily unless he sucks.

One bad thing I’ve noticed in FT games I play is that the Frame rate drops so much on ps4 as soon as we FT players are close to each other and fighting pmc’s.
The thing gets even worse when the predator shows up.

This game needs a serious downgrade in graphic quality for PS4 in order to be able to maintain 60 fps during the action

Sometimes the pred is killing my friend and I cant shoot him because of the serious framerate drop.
To me, framerate consistence is the most important in a game.

You can still see the predator with high settings btw 😂 I don’t know why people think that is the graphic setting to make you god. You can put high settings go to the roof of derailed and see the predator across the map leaping like a retard.
