Honestly I’d rather not have any hokey halloween or xmas gimmicks as that would detract from making the game run better
What this game needs now more than ever (aside from making the PS4 experience 100% more smoother) are maps

Totally agree. Look at the loading screen… the burnt out chopper lighting up a dark and frightening jungle landscape. There’s a map idea. WTF didn’t they do that?
Anyone hoping for a city-based map can forget it now.
The game mode is okaaaay on the new map, but yeah it’s so CoD it’s almost redundant.

I played the new mode on one of the existing maps and wasn’t the best start, much better on the new map inside the cave. Think a broken subway for scale.
A battle Royal is coming as the 15 player game mod (thats only my bet )

It seems like we might be a long way from maps. At least any mention of city maps.
I think we’ll get maps that gradually work toward being, able to do a city.
First we will get the 6 jungle maps, then maybe 2 other biomes (Betting on northern forests and desert) with 3 maps each bring us up to about 12 maps, not including variants of the existing ones.
I think we might get up to 3, one off maps too, before a city map. So like a map that doesn’t fit into one of the biomes ie. on an oil rig, deep in a cave system containing a secret base or even a weather map, weather can tax the game and make the experience less enjoyable but a map built for it can compensate by having the weather itself be the major feature, having less undergrowth and other things that need processing.
Gauntlet (15 player mode) is probably going to be 3v12 or 3v6v6. Everyone is hoping for a 3 Predator mode
Might be 10 v 3 v 2 or it could be 8 v 5 v 2. defenders, attackers, Predators.
There is no telling how the devs are going to set it up, but as long as my buddies and I can all run around as Predators I’ll be happy
