owlf and recon are classified as the same class, you can use either but no team should have, for a example, a recon and an owlf

The idea of weapon class locks are to avoid stacking weapons damage, such as the constant onslaught of 2 or 3 snipers or 3 or 4 hammerheads

The idea of Weapon Locked to Classes is actually something I’ve been suggesting the Devs should implement for like 5 months now. So I agree with these rules completely, they’re not bad rules. Anyway I went and made a Tournament build, I’ll be glad to take part whenever this thing gets going.

@JelouGaming Okay so the Build I want to enter the Tournament with is

Scout - Disciplined with Impenatrable, Dithered Lens & Large Pouch as my Perks and the Bow & Smart Disc as my weapons. This is acceptable, correct?

Another question is why the operative is limited to a sniper rifle, when in predator 2 they have assault rifles?

I understand what you’re saying homie, but it seems FT is getting cucked hard in this gamemode lol.

Although to be fair they really do deserve it.
I’m just saying it seems like an easy win for pred with how it’s lookin rt now

Because the OWLF class is a hybrid between an assault and recon. I could modify the rules to be used instead of one of those, but again, the idea is not to stack, so might be better off banning it altogether because I feel it breaks the dynamic of what the fireteam should be.

I’m a fireteam main, although I do play Predator from time to time. I don’t feel I’m hindering FT in any way, just forcing teams to play, well… LIKE A TEAM, which honestly on pubs, we never do

I’ve played with level 0 fresh out of the store loadouts and still win most matches. There’s no easy win for Pred, but what I am encouraging is to play for score and not so much for wins. Sure, pred can go ahead and wipe everyone in under a minute, but the XP will be low and will affect the winning outcome at the end

I mean as it stands, FT is not supposed to lose. That much is apparent with the current balance. The only thing that put balance back on the table was almost breaking pred. Now if we do what he’s trying to organize, it’s basically a no bullshit tourny

I mean, it’s been a long time since we’ve done it, but when we have a full ranger squad we coordinate like a team.

I’m in charge of spotting
Onskie does the sniping
Amp does the mission/support
Splurge helps chase and protect onskie

And that’s just one example.
Like, it’s up to the team to create synergy, not the game. The game give you the tools to synergize

Yeah the Rules of “These Weapons can only be used on these Classes” etc etc is all suggestions I’ve made to the Devs for months because having like 4 Assaults running around with SAWZ-50 breaks the game in half more then it already is.

Here, I’ll share something I’ve been working hard on since November. Work in progress. Only about 20% done.

It’s not open to edits and revisions just yet. But something like would turn the current meta on its head. Make it a skill-based game instead of me run broken build, me win

I get what you’re saying my guy, but pred absolutely can get easy wins, even without using exploits.

I’m on board with what you’ve got going on, only change I’d ask of you would be to allow operative to use assault rifles tbh, the other stuff makes sense for what you’re tryna do.

Just hope the preds don’t all hang back and caster their way to victory

It’s sad rn bc only a handful of us keep playing the game, everyone got bored/upset bc the game was so broken.

So believe me i understand that this game needs tweaking.

I play both sides and that’s part of the reason i made my “Axing Questions” video.

My hope is that illfonic notices the broken shit and fixes it before they wash their hands of this game

I feel like the real issue there is the SAWZ itself.
Any class with that gun is insane, you get shot and a quarter to a third of your health disappears
