Out of those 10, I have not played only against Shawn and dutch, both of which have been very positive on the discord and are looking forward to the tourney. All the rest we have done plenty of public and private matches without any toxicity. Half of them will also play FT, so… where is the toxicity gonna come from?
In the end, it is still stipulated on the rules. Anyone who’s toxic is insta-banned. We have already had a couple of people joining the discord just to talk shit and they have been insta-banned in less than 5 minutes.
Now, if you wanna come here to talk shit and piss on the thing, don’t complain when @Kassinaillia bans you for it. She has already stated multiple times she will do it without warnings

Dont come back and say im right when people start complaining about hacking and modded controllers and stuff. Maybe even running smoother because everyone have different platform or computer

Complaining about modded controllers is absurd. It’s like complaining about modded suspension in a car race.
Im not gonna force people to play on an amazon basic 3 button mouse just because you feel is unfair to have 11 buttons available on your right hand
There’s no hacks for this game, no matter how much you guys wanna believe they exist. They don’t. There’s only bug exploits and we all know what they are, because we use them on a daily basis. That has been addressed in the rules and anyone doing it will be banned
Make a post where people can complain before the tournament, during the tournament and after it is over 😀

There’s always gonna be concerns & accusations of exploits & hacking, but so far everything seems to be going well and everybody is operating on good faith. I will admit, I initially signed up to the Tournament not out of a desire to just have fun but because I had received word some underhanded stuff might go down and new exploits & tricks not known to the wider community would be used but so far I haven’t found or been told of any evidence of this and we’re all going to be recording every match from both perspectives and the recordings are going to be watched over almost religiously in the process of commentating & scoring the event so if anybody even is stupid enough to try something they’d be caught anyways.

In this case, with a small community, everything is news ; everything on the forum gets attention.
