Also, the combo of Fervent/Analytic/Stalker with Down Range actually allows you to One Shot ANY class at or below 150 HP with a fully charged plasma bolt, a smart disc hit or a headshot with the bow & arrow. So if they’re at or below 150HP, they go down. Its just majority of players run either Thick Skin or OWLF Trained, and sometimes both, so ya generally only see it happen to say Recon & Scout in practice.

I agree with all the rules except for the FT using only those specific classes.
I mean, 150HP is the average HP from all the classes, why should 2 FT be obligated to use scout and recon?
Also i don’t agree with the banned DLC’s. Make it free for both sides. And would be better to ban only Dante/Field Medic cause it’s the only OP class per se in my opinion.
If you don’t agree you are welcome to not participate. I explained the reasoning as to why the rules are laid the way they were. Can’t really please everyone and somebody will always complain about something. That’s just the way people are. Nothing wrong with it. You are welcome to create your own tournament if you wish. This is my version of what I consider fair/unfair.

I agree with making the things balanced, i only think you could draw the line a little bit higher.
Not agitated at all. I’m just trying to be as polite as possible without giving in to people’s requests because otherwise getting everyone to agree on something will be an eternal struggle.
I would like to play a predator match to experience that kind of gameplay but I think chilling as FT would be more fun tournament wise lmao

We could try a few privates to get a real feel for it and adjust anything accordingly.

Bro, I’m telling you. A lot of these people that talk big game need to run the tankiest and most deadly classes to even function. And I’m over here running Recons and Scouts without meds. No meds builds are genuinely fun as fuck. Makes you consider instead of just being reckless

These days whenever I have to play FT for Challenges or have friends on but not enough for Privates, I just run Izzy. She’s the most fun to me and she actually feels balanced. She can do just as much insane damage as classes like Scout & Assault but she can also die if ya so much as breath on her. A Glass Cannon. Stark fucking contrast from everyone else, especially Dante.
It’s natural for people to feel uncomfortable when asked to do something out of their comfort zone. Is not like I wasn’t expecting the reactions from some people. Probably people on my own discord will feel the same way. No grudge, it is what it is. Nobody is forced to participate. But I will also be not coerced to bend the rules to something I do not consider fair just because they feel different. Rules are set. Don’t like them? Don’t participate. As simple as that. If at the end of the day no one is willing to do it, then the shit doesn’t happen. Is not like I’m gonna lose sleep over it.
