The AI in this game is abysmal i’d rather they just drop the attempt altogether and double down on pvp & increase playercount which is what may be going on looking at the leaks.
It’s in the same vein as “add wallclimbing xenomorphs” predator dog AI, alien fauna etc
You have to look at the company and go "Ok, realistically looking at what we have now…can they do this beyond buggy garbage? (AI spawning out of thin air, stealth being nonexistent, they forget to pull a simple alarm half the time and just stop to stand and shoot, AI can literally be seen struggling to turn or pathfind to players etc)
No, unless they get an actual AI programmer onboard. Far easier to just drop the AI and create better distractions for the FT & at the end of the day that’s superior to bots.
You just to embraced to say that you cant compete only and Its okay. Single Player is the only way you can play video games then find a single player game for ur bum ass

Wrong about that this time… this game is nowhere near at asymmetrical point anymore… the more they keep updating the game the less you get a certain feel of being a “alien/hunter” feels like ur playing OP Fireteam when playing predator really lol…

Obviously goober here is for the offline mode
Just mainly for the casual aspect of the game as mentioned by rhuta and also for longevity of the game itself. Years later we can throw on a bot mode match to still play this game when the playerbase has moved to nexgen
As I’ve said in many other posts I just want to to be able to log on and casually play as a predator and have fun. I could really care less what people think of my ability when it comes to playing a predator. I bought this game to have fun not to be try hard get good little teenager.

I’m all up for offline mode… i prefer ripping spines when i feel like it and not fuck myself trying to depleate their health before white skull shows etc… annoying as shit… sry kind of mad a lot… im just so sad cause i get stutters… my pc is overheating only in this game as i am running a FUCKING BITCOIN MINER 88c+ on max fans… my FPS is also fairly low even on low graphic preset… wake the fuck up… fix the PC experience… not everyone has RTX 2080ti’s…

This is a multyplayer game and should stay like that. All the resources they got should go there. Go play AVP if you want a single player.
PS. People playing offline would just decrease the pool of players making it even smaller. So a big no!
Personally I’m looking forward to the Predator version of SP Challenges.
Call it an enhanced tutorial, or as a way to introduce big earth game, show off small controllable pieces of any partial maps they have constructed.
I don’t think you’d be saying that when the servers shut down and you can’t play it anymore.

Everything ends eventually, I would like to play my games after death to but don’t think I will be able to.
I wonder if the forums of Assassins Creed are full of people demanding it have multi player as “people have the right to play how they want”?
This game was conceived, designed, and marketed as a multiplayer experience. To purchase it then complain it isn’t something completely different is an absurd kind of whiny entitlement.
The developers have absolutely no obligation to provide a mode that was never advertised. They may try and add one at some point, but given the AI complexity (as in total lack of) in this game, it would be reasonable to assume they wisely focused on multiplayer as they don’t have the necessary skills to pull off a satisfying single player mode.
Either buy a game which is designed and advertised as having a single player mode, or start a private match and combat the mindless AI by yourself in that. The vast majority of players checked what the game was before buying. They shouldn’t have their experience diluted and developer attention distracted to accommodate people who failed to understand what ‘multiplayer only’ means.
Which assassins creed had the multiplayer mode? Was it 3? I’m sure there are people wanting some sort of version of the gamemode implemented in the current game. Even if it is an unpopular request. I understand your point of view, however. It’s not hard to find some other single player games to play that are intensely fleshed out way beyond the capabilities of IllFonic (no shade intended)
It would be neat if you started a match solo as pred and the AI just did hella damage to you since you are solo. No big programming or reworking of AI needed. Just slide the damage tables? I also have no idea how game development works hahaha

I’m gonna throw out my own stupid argument that makes no sense just like everyone else likes to do. If you want a multiplayer only game go play an mmo. Most mmo you can’t even log in without being connected to the internet and predator you can still access the tutorial and private matches offline. I guess it’s not a true online game then and all illfonics apologists should stop playing and go find a true multiplayer only game since I should go find a single player game to play?
Or even better stop telling people the way they want to play this game is wrong you want to play multiplayer only? Great I have no problem with that have fun. But let people who want an offline mode have there opinion and keep you argument of go play a different game or offline is stupid to yourself. Everyone should be able to enjoy this game.
