I absolutely agree it should have been held off. But the release was probably pushed by the publisher. Sadly it’ll be Illfonic that takes the blame. Shame, because these big companies never learn. It needed another 6 months of work. Man, imagine what we would have got with another 6 months of testing, balancing, polish and content?

I haven’t gotten into a game for the last several hours. I was trying for 2 hours, que for 20 minutes, it would say connecting, then just back to matchmaking. I’d quit the que, try again, same thing. For two hours. Not one game. Took a break, reset the computer and the router. Still nothing. Current que is sitting at 18 minutes. I guarantee if I even manage to get a game it’ll drop me into an empty lobby.

I understand your frustration and indeed the queueing times is something that is pushing away–I presume–many players and I believe that current this should be a priority to get it fixed rather than releasing new content to the game–otherwise, we get the new content but will spend more time “queueing” than “playing” it.
Now I must confess, I preordered the Deluxe Ed. for PS4, and I felt let down because aside of double-xp and cosmetics I did expected a game with more maps, more diversification of missions for FT, and it feels that the game at launching date is the very same as the “trial”–nothing added but the same content of the “trial”.
I assumed the “trial” was about “sections” of the game made available for x test purposes, but not the entire game :(
I still have fun with the game and play it daily for a few hours but I fear that its longevity might not be that lasting…
