Boycotts don’t really work on this side of the aisle. It’ll be Ghostbusters all over again with the whole argument being twisted into ‘straight white men hate women’.
What ya gotta do is roast it into oblivion. Just relentlessly make fun of it and people will get the message. Comedy is a tool above all else.

Instead of stressing it,
I would just try to focus on a more positive angle.
Meaning, while the plot may be lame,
Hopefully they’ll be some cool fights and scenes.
That’s the best anyone can hope for.

No, comedy almost entirely went out with George. It’s like no one has balls enough to make jokes that are funny anymore. There are very, very few exceptions.
Where exactly are you looking? TV? Reddit? Cuz guys like hitler up there want to use govt to condition what people find funny so you end up with Amy Schumer talking about her stinky vajoina for an hour.
I’m speaking specifically about comedic films and comedy shows. They’re just not as funny as they used to be. Hell, I can’t even tell you the last good comedy I watched.
