Just got spotted and sniped out of a tree while sitting crouched, then chased while running as far and as fast as possible as a scout I might add, and still got knifed to death right as I was recovering from second wind. It doesn’t make sense that the Predators defense mechanism would make them extremely visible. If anything it should autocloak, even if your out of energy. Make the cloak use an “emergency” power source that can’t be tapped into from normal combat, and has to recharge to use just like the normal idea of second wind.

If you’re on ps4, disable crossplay, if you’re on P.C, unfortunately I believe it’s rife with hacking scum. I also had my mask sniped off in mid air by a P.C player, I immediately left the game and turned off crossplay.
they need to make the directionality of the predators unintended “clickin n hootin” less obvious along with the sounds of changing weapons and vision modes etc quieter and less obvious.
i understand if its something you do willingly it should give away your position a little bit. but when its something you dont even do its crazy that is should be SO SO directional and easy to tell where it comes from. it would be far more freaky and unsettling if it echoes arund a bit … is it there? there? fuck who knows… lets “stick to the mission”

it should sound like it came from everywhere over there, not EXACTLY THAT Milimetric position there.
Once they hear it, its just a spam-fest of the spotting key and randomly fire in that direction till you hit, or the predator has to move and reveal himself…
There is no stealth. Then you are wounded! Badly…
So badly your heatbeat is so load you cant even hear gunfire! you cant hear the footsteps, anything!
i mean i love the sounds and design its just implemented too obviously and too extreme.

No, you just got sniped by someone using a mouse, happens. But, here’s some cheese…
i dont have issue with PC players accuracy im on PC, but if all preds weapons need skill to lead and compensate for projectile drop and different charge states. sholdnt the snipers also need that skill?
or conversly the bow and plasma etc should all be hitscan weapons. if croshair is on it hits… no worrys about leading, or drop.
