It seems a lot of people are mad that they brought in bots to predator. I thought I heard a lot of people asking for either a single player mode or bots since the games launch? Am I just crazy?

To my knowledge they don’t seem to work as imagined.
@Arnie.schwarzewigger is saying if you load in 4 FT bots they don’t move. Seems that they are only programmed to follow, not move independently

Most people understood that the AI in this game are no smarter than monkeys.

I dont know if they do , I said they don’t move if there are four bots , they maybe move if there is a player controlled player , but that’s a big if

Still smarter than most Fireteam players though. Which isn’t saying much.

Those people don’t have any critical thinking skills and don’t realize illfonic has no AI programmer and just buys bot blueprints off the unreal marketplace.
Everyone knew that’d be a waste of time over an actual mode
Fireteam bots is a big deal for me if they’re decent enough. I mentioned in another thread that if I have friends that only make up a party of 3 or 4, we can still private match it now and take turns being a Predator. Again, this is contingent on the AI being smart enough… and future updates made to improve it (if needed).
But Illfonic working on the AI can help down the road with the longevity of the game, the sad day (hopefully years away) when support ends and servers disappear. So this is all a step in the right direction for me.
