OK thats it for me, ranged pred was my jam, its useless now.

Take this for whatever you want, a rant, whine, i dont care tbh, i cant keep playing this game right now.

I use Scout only and i used mainly my Plasma Caster as my one weapon to rely on for downing the FT without getting shot to shit. Its been nerfed, we all know that, and i really dont see why.

Hitting a Fireteam with a fully charge wasnt easy, timing it and all that, felt VERY rewarding hitting someone and putting them in a downed state so you put some brakes on the FT wheels, because they are blasting through their objectives.

My last 2 matches, i couldnt stop them as a Scout, there was no chance,and they wereā€™t even that good. I hit them atleast 2-3 times to even get a down, with the ranged damage perk on, this was not fun gameplay as they basicly just shrugged it off, revived and kept going. And for some reason i went out of energy so fast now, i cant remember this beeing the case before, gotta read the patch notes again. I still hit small bushes and twigs and the projectile didnt land btw, so thats not fixed everywhere.

So yeah, Scout is now utterly useless, it was the one thing i enjoyed, beeing a Glass Cannon that relied on ranged damage and dying easy to close combat. I have no interest in beeing a Berserker Bulldozer, and the hunter is too slow. Winning isnt even my goal in matches, dont care if i loose, but with this patch i cant even effectively slow them down anymore either,and rake in good points.

GG, iā€™ll be back in a few weeks, this game goes in my backlog now, not enjoyable.

Keep playing dude. For one Iā€™ve been owning as zerk now so you can try that if you give up XD

Though scout to me is still the best class. You donā€™t use energy while in thermal, you move fast as hell and thatā€™s just the class bonus.

The splash damage is what makes the fully charged shot so good. Youā€™ll still half health anyone a full charged shot and I think you can basically still one shot enemy scouts šŸ¤”

Just try rethinking your approach as scout I promise you she(well mine is a female) is still good.

Plasma cannon nerf was unnecessary and the bow buff is good but not enough, still doesnā€™t deal decent damage.

Well, it seems now that thay just want the game to die as soon as possible. I donā€™t know why. Maybe they got their money for developing and see no perspective in selling cosmetics. And just want to get some more money on developing a new title. Because we all read this forum. There were A LOT of complaints on bad working stealth, on the noise that Predator makes, on the stupid parrying, on how easy is to spot a Pred. They did some ā€œcosmetic nerfsā€ against Fireteam, but totally destroy Plasma-based gameplay for Predators, as well as combistick. I donā€™t get it. There were almost no whining on Plasma tbh.

Yeah thats what is so weird to me, dont think ive seen ONE post claiming the cannon needs a nerf, its already nerfed as its slow to charge and dodging it was prerty doable. Now we cant even whipshot effectively because we cant really down them and turn the tables fast enough, so they just keep healing and rushing the objective.

Rip Scout, was fun.

Ye, I can get it if they made different numbers for Plasma damage depending on the class that is using it. Like less damage for PC-loving Zerkers. But for Scoutsā€¦ it looks like a sneer.

Yesā€¦great point. This game has ā€œclassesā€ā€¦no it doesnt, they arent classes. Classes means they specialize, in this game a class is a speed or healthbuff.

We actually donā€™t have even perks. I mean, there are some topics on the forum where ppl made a good work trying to get actual numbers that perks give us. And it seems thatā€™s around 10% of ā€œless damage takenā€ and ā€œmore damage doneā€. Right now you canā€™t just make your own, special Predator via perks, which would be effective and not like all the others around. Sadly.

While I get what youā€™re saying, youā€™re upset about losing the ability to one shot when preds got all kinds of buffs everywhere else. Snap aiming and one shotting is pretty cheap.

So you only played this game because of 1 weapon, that only 1 side is able to use? Lol
The bow got buffed, the plasma pistol got buffed, predator resistance to damage got buffed, but because they nerfed a weapon of unlimited uses and capable of insta-downing people got nerfed, you leave the gameā€¦

Iā€™d be fine if they bow damage stayed the same but itā€™s slow was longer or a greater slow to hit follow up shots.

But yeah I agree. It was an unnecessary nerf. It was difficult to land a shot as is and was a risk/reward if they had a 7EN. Is it even worth using now?

Yeah, great to have choices right? My choice of play was the insanely weak Scout with a powerful weapon.

I dont like the other weapons, and running out of Energy with Cannon was super easy, so no, we couldnt spam it.

Im not gonna play in a way i dont enjoy, if this is your argument, use it against the FT also. Why are so many people running snipers?

Yeah, Iā€™m done with this shit. The plasma Caster didnt need to be touched. I lost my mask to sniper in 2 shots. While I shot 3 fully charged not a dent. Oh and the party BS is still going on strong, nothing was nerf on that front.
