Okay im pretty sure few people talked about it and even more people thought about it, but lets talk about actual game mechanics that lets you AS a player to have fun and enjoy the game and its content…
Fireteam wise:
Nothing too serious or complex is given for fireteam to play around with except the mudding up system (which IMO needs rework asap rocky) now… this is basically IT for fireteam, i would love to see much more mechanics for the fireteam wise in the game such as blend in with the tree’s, prone in the mud and let it cover you, same would go for snow if they decide to add more maps based on weather bla bla bla… even maybe making custom traps (which would be debatable i guess), maybe carry your teammate? would kinda be dope to carry injured person (again debatable due to reviving n stuff)…
Predator wise:
Okay here we go, ooh boy, predator mechanics are limited to basically 40-60% of what he can actually do and what he is capable of doing, some of the stuff may even be aesthethically or unessential for his win but oh well it looks look lol…
Okay we start of with his leaping and jumping from tree to tree right, then we have his cloaking, his vision, ground slam charge aaand traps (which are mostly useless againts well cordinated teams lately, and yeah yeah they work if you play them right i get it haahah)… OKAY SO… my point in here… we all know predator can climb trees, even in 87’ movie we saw him actually climb down the tree slowly next to dutch, so yes he can theoretically climb up and down, now he can probably also climb up a building in the game ofc, and maybe even latch onto the edges and pounce attack someone when he is leaving the building, my point here excatly being a POUNCE mechanic that can be easily interupted by anyone ( AI or Fireteam) Basically this would like make fireteam fully exhausted and put him on floor while predator deals low dmg to the fireteam member (picture a predator stabbing you with a wrist blade while jumping on you and then you wiggle around while fighting back or until someone decides to help you…) Now this pounce mechanic would be key strategy for predator actually being a predator a stalker and an true assassin, he could basically just be on the tree on top and you will have short option to pounce someone… NEXT up we have predator also being able to put much more traps on the ground and tree’s… So we talked about vision right, but in movies he does not only have one vision right, he has multiple ones that can either let him see thermal, infra red, light particles, particles, specifically isolate only footprints… all of that has to be avaliable for a certain predator class, now im talking about actual hunter & scout class… they are both assassin like classes which would make sense for this being in the game…
Anyhow, im not sure what else im missing, writting this at 2 am cause i was bored and i would like to see some or most stuff that i mentioned in the game either in next update or in future ones…
