I’ve yet to have a problem with the chain whip yet personally. Normally my playstyle acts as a slight counter anyways as I’m just always moving and jumping around whenever the pred is on the attack. If you just keep moving around it makes the pred a lot harder to do ranged attacks with weapons such as the combi, net gun and bow which is the best defence against them from my experience

I run the recon sniper, with only one weapon; the sawz bolt action. This does require me to stand relatively still atm unless it’s a noscope shot. When scoped, I do move around some but I’m slow and pretty trackable. Only been hit once with the whip while doing so, but it was a guaranteed death with a team that doesn’t fire back, and I didn’t know they had the whip.

Fair, I get how it would be difficult with just a sniper in the inventory, especially if a pred gets a bit close. I always rock one of the SMG’s, particulary the ZR-55, which absolutely rinses preds up close. That way I can run and jump around all I want considering it’s not too bad with hipfire as well.

I hate that thing. I am sick of being dragged around like a mutt by that thing lmmfao People need to stop sleeping on it, with some skill and finesse it is probably one of the best options a Predator player currently has especially if you’re looking to troll FT back to the lobby lol
