On Countering Noob Pred Weps

Anyone have tips on countering chain whip? You’re stunned for long enough for the predator to kill you in a few swipes. I suppose the only counter would be use a dutch or dante build, if you were around when you could have bought the dlc. Or just tank up with as much health as possible every match, but go insanely slow.

As for preds spamming the net gun, I find that walking in circles is the best counter if you get trapped by one. Seems that only older players use it, as it’s pretty much a guaranteed win if there are any noobs on the FT.

I already know how long it takes to break free. Here’s an example:

I was the last FT member alive, and acidglow net guns me, while using blades afterwards. I break free, and he instantly net guns me again and knifes me. I break free a third time, and he net guns me again and finally kills me. Is there any counter to such a tactic or is it always a pred win? This was all in the span of 10 seconds.

Seems like there should be a cooldown on using them. Maybe 10 seconds per net gun use.

Him having the net gun the last guy 4 times, speaks otherwise. I got the moves. I just can’t do the impossible, sometimes.

Probably both, considering how he uses it against the last person, who only played FT for less than a week. Very dishonorable.

Netgun. Shoulder casters are apparently. I blocked him little Bud, I don’t have to read his lies anymore. I love reading the replies though, it’s very obvious what scandals and dramas are occurring.

I do hold back if I see the other team is newer, and try to help them get tips, but I don’t expect anyone else to. It’s just funny how he plays dishonorably like that. Haven’t seen anyone else be so afraid as predator before, especially of a brand new person to FT. I take it as a compliment though.

use scout with double time and they’ll never hit you

but i’m pretty sure you can knife nets out of the air, and the chain whip is so slow that barely anyone uses it

I really don’t get how people even see this to something to complain. First of all you can literally hear it across the map (audio bug) so, the moment they “try it” you already know. Take cover, as with everything else. Is not the smart disk and easily avoidable. You got snatched by it? well, you deserve what you got yourself into, deal with it. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose, big deal.
