And stealth is useless.

And no stealth is not good for the game. We’ve already seen what it’s like with the 10 minute FT hide outs before the introduction of last man standing.

No adding two currencies is not a good idea.

It doesn’t do anything’s. Your idea’s around it does, but the actual addition of a second currency doesn’t do anything beneficial.

And adding all the maps into one would both be pointless and ugly unless you reworked the entire game around it.

These changes would not be good for the health of the game. I appreciate that you’re thinking of ways to improve the game, but with every suggestion, think of it on a budget.

Particularly a time budget. Let’s say you have four weeks to create the next update. Making new models and animations for characters, props, map pieces, and weapons can take a week easily, each.

While the artists make those, the programmers have to design the game mechanics and smooth them out, which can take days for each mechanic.

Then the QA team has to wait for the artists and programmers to finish their work to test it and suggest changes, which can then take an additional couple weeks of back and forth.

It’s not feasible to suggest things like regenerating limbs and reworking the game economy when the core gameplay is still not hitting the mark.

People are going to hold the game hostage regardless of what game it is. The ability to virtually torture people until they ragequit has proven to be too much power for one person to handle.

Idk how you would prevent that tho besides a timer.

But theres a lot of stupid stuff in DBD which allows for that lol.

Entire illfonic team scammed most of us here but most of them are not even aware they did… and even to some extent some people will fight along side illfonic againts the fact that they did in fact scam as in falsly advertised the game as a stealthy 4 v 1.

The reason for that is cause we legit have the saved podcasts and blogs where they interview the director and other main people at illfonic.

Legit proof that they marketed the game as slow type stealth asymmetrical pvpe…

But it turned out to be a “FAST ASYMMETRICAL PVP with legit low stealth

The thing that im waiting for is whole entire team to apologize and rework the game to properly work for consoles and computers, and also make the game based on what community wants and not what the shitty ego driven developers want and director too…

Turtle rock studios confirmed that they didnt want to work along side illfonic anymore cause they did not like how their director behaves and his mentality for making games.

Turtle rock is a studio where they listen to what their community wants while illfonic is ego andies pretending to add what people want… instead they wait for the things people suggest for example.

Of the 5 Ideas I Suggested, You Only Addressed 3.
But let’s go.

  • You say that Stealth in a Game of this Genre is Useless. It is Totally Ridiculous !.
    Take a Test to see if Stealth is Useless or Not.
    When you go on a mission, come running and shooting in all directions and throwing grenades.
    And then, on another Mission, arrive Totally silent. Sneaky. Catching AI soldiers off guard.
    See if there is no difference and if stealth is so useless.

But then, you will ask me: “But what does the Stopwatch have to do with Stealth ?.”
Simple!. If you don’t have to worry about the clock, you can do things more calmly.
No hurry to give time to do the mission. Or the mission ending at the height of action!.

Detail: I have already reformulated this Idea. In the other Comments, I suggested that the Timer Option be On or Off. And give more Time Options. 15, 20, 25, 30 or 35 Minutes.

    Maps are practically the same. It seems that if You walk just beyond the Limits of one of the Maps, You arrive at the other.
    So, it would be MUCH Better to have only 1 Big Map !.
    Missions would have to be more complex; The Predator’s Hunting Area would be Larger; New Missions would have to be Elaborated; We would need More Time to Complete the Missions or No Time, we would enjoy more the Map and the Fight against the Predator; Etc.

I do not know if You know this Information or if you already stopped to Realize, that some Missions of the “Excavation” Map are practically the same Missions that we have in other Maps !.
A single large map would open up new possibilities.

I wouldn’t mind a big map, plus the 4 smaller maps. I’d take anything at this point.

No timer wouldn’t work in this game I think. Option to turn it on or off in private, I’m fine with. I think a better idea would be you can’t call the chopper till the 5 min mark. That way you have a bit of stealth gameplay for when the FT finish the mission with time to spare. Also prevents premades from bum rushing to the exfil.

Separate coins for preds is a bad idea. The only reason some pred mains play FT is for the V. Having individual coins would make the que times for pred extremely long. I think the only way it could work is if the FT can pick up cash (currency) And V (xp or some other thing). But if you die, the pred can pick up all the V you collected in the same way it can pick up your OWLF tape.
This will also provide that extra thrill of ‘oh fuck, if I die i’ ll lose all my V, better keep low and move quietly’. I feel it would rake up the tension a bit.

Why would you do this if there’s no reason to play stealth when going in guns blazing does the same thing way faster and requires no coordination in a public match?
That makes stealth useless by definition, and the pred leaps a couple times to find you at one of three compounds.

Combining everything into one DayZ sized map for the same exact gamemode would just be tedious. Running from mission area to mission area is already dumb downtime & mishmashing all the maps together is a complete rework of the game.
Rendering that much foliage decimates CPU speeds you can say goodbye to this game on PS4 without some insane corner cutting. Game already runs poorly with basically no AI.

You already Sayed you take back the arm mutilation so that’s one point gone and the other half of that was gun buffing.

And the other point was either your point either your same point on how quantity should determine cost which means everything has to suck which we already countered multiple times or it’s some new idea you have that’s completely vague.

Ya I read them. No it doesn’t. If you only added one new currency and changed nothing else it makes it worse. Pred would be stuck farming daily challenges and FT would be stuck farming matches. You would need to alter other factors such as pick up rate and the Pred actauly receiving VT as a reward for his matches. The actual addition of a second currency would actually make it worse.

No it wouldn’t. At most you walk from one map, to the other. What does that do? It’s no different from walking from the train yard to the camp to the village in derailed.

No we wouldn’t. Missions could be just as short because we wouldn’t have to scale the whole map. Like certain missions we have now. What you want is longer more elaborate missions. Making a huge map doesn’t make that happen. We could just as easily have that gen mission on Overgrowth on this super map.

So a completely new map with new terrain and assets reuses missions. So a copy and pasted map should yeild new results.

About the Time Limit, I didn’t quite understand your suggestion.

But if you think it would also be a good idea, that the timer could be turned on or off, it’s cool too.

Perhaps taking into account, the Number of AI Soldiers Killed by the FT, and a Quantity is distributed to each Player, according to that Number of Kills;
For example, I killed 30 AI soldiers.
There could be a VT Multiplier. X100, X200, X300, X400.
I killed 35 AI soldiers.
35 X300 = 10,500 VT.
And for the Predator, He could also collect VT.
For example, my Soldier had 1,300 VT. If He is Killed, the Predator gets that amount of VT.
If it is a Claim Kill, it also multiplies the Quantity of VT.

It’s not that difficult. Besides 9/10 alarm pills aren’t that bad.

They’re easy to find without going slow. Especially with their audio.

The fact that a map is larger does not make it better.

While I like this you’d have to massively rework tracking as well as giving preds a significant buff to compensate.

Not to mention this would be a hundred times better on a map actauly designed for it.

Unless the FT doesn’t care which will happen. Especially in comp.

Larger doesn’t mean better missions. Just that it takes longer to get to point A to point B. (And that’s if all the OBJ’s aren’t in the same area)

A larger map would allow for more options and easier to make missions better and longer that way.
It just has to implemented right.

God forbid you have to fight enemy soldiers huh?
You want to completely avoid the predator it seems.
Given how easy it is to kill him I dont see why that’s the case.

The bear trap is useless.
If you run into it its cause you’re not paying attention.

And with good teams even if you get caught usually the other guys cover you so by the time the predator switches weapons theres no point in trapping someone in the first place.

They’re extremely easy to destroy and detect.
They are worthless.

Adding a secondary currency, is the right word btw not coin, would be pointless.
Sure you could add it but there would be no real point.
