One perk is disabling the other

“Fearless and Down range do not stack. If we take both perks only Fearless effects would be active”

I imagine that it´s a mistake and that Illfonic should correct it.

I think that all perks must work with their accumulated effects (stack).
Otherwise, there should be a disclamer pointing out incompatible perks if used at the same time.
this also occurs with other perk pairs when used at the same time.

Agreed, people need to know if they’re Loadout are effective or being muted by having two opposing perks.

@KameofWar has already explained this multiple times in several threads. Click on his name, go through the posts and not only will you find the actual numbers but a better explaination as to what I’m about to attempt…

Of course they don’t stack, one is for ranged attacks and the other is for melee attacks. Attacks being the important word; so using the combi Stick as an example, why should you get the bonus damage from Downrange when using it in melee? Why should you get the bonus from Fearless if you’re throwing it? Same with Smart Disc.

And why would they stack to begin with? There are no RANGED MELEE attacks, that’s an oxymoron.

If you’re running Fearless and Down Range, and say for example are using the Combistick the game gives you your bonus accordingly. So you’ll get the Fearless bonus when in melee and you’ll get the Down Range bonus when you throw it. It isn’t a bug, it’s how they’re designed to work.

I will try to explain it better: according to some players observations, it seems that if you choose fearless to meelee attack bonus with the elder sword and at the same time you choose long range to ranged attack bonus with the bow, only fearless will work on the sword and the bow will not receive the effects of the long range. you see?

Nobody wants to stack impossible things. It’s different perks for different attack types.

I used the word stack and cumulative in relation to the effects received as a whole by the predator … in this case: two effects, one for meele attacks and another for ranged attacks.

It seems that only one works whem you choose these two perks.
if you’ve tested and confirmed it’s working properly, my topic is wrong,

Down range and Protection do not cancel each other out tho.
Good to know tho

More excellent things coming out of this game ammaright

Incorrect. James Cameron once killed a pred by swinging a 200 foot tree at it. This was a melee attack but at a 200 foot range.
