why am I getting one shot now with the plasma caster? Did they buff it?

Depends on your health, class, he might have been running Down Range perk?? A bit more info can help here. Were there any AI shooting you at the time, they buffed AI damage to FT and you’ll be surprised how much and how quick that health goes down.

Ah gotcha. Yea probably got unlucky and hit with down range and full charged. Head shot of coirse adds damage with the PC too right?

Yep. I tried to make sure people knew that “downrange” and full plasma caster has always been able to OHK scout and recon, even after the nerf. Unless you’re running thick skin.

If double time was buffed enough, it may be worth not taking thick skin, but I never ran scout or recon without thick skin because plasma caster and combistick throw with “downrange” was instant death.
