Now I ain’t hating or criticizing the game I just wanted to show a example of what I went through by using this YouTubers experience as well

As you can see Dutch 87 single handled the Predator and I did something similar so what dose this mean?

Any class can do it, honestly the root issue is the parry system. My belief is that parry was intended to be a survivability tool in case your team leaves you but instead it’s an incredibly powerful disabling tool to nuke preds. Just use combi stick to throw or net/handheld to deal with parry spammers

those preds were pretty shitty.

If they wanna go melee spam, they deserve to be killed. Is ridiculous to call FT OP, when it takes 9 melee hits to second wind a hunter, yet it takes 5 wristblade attacks to down a comparable FT class (assault).

Then you have combi, katana and elder sword who are lethal on melee and just takes a few swings. And net gun… and combi throw… I mean… if you go attacking with your wristblades like an idiot… well… you got it coming. Can’t say FT is OP when the Pred is playing like a retard

I’m sorry but the Vid where either 2 very, very inexperienced Preds or something else.

1st Vid the Pred came up on the roof and after failing Melee missed with his Plasma shots by a lot despite being at close range. I guess it could be chalked up to as I said inexperience causing panic.

Dutch having Melee out should have netted the Pred at least 1-2 safe shots before Dutch could change to Ranged after knowing for sure the Pred wasn’t repositioning for another Melee attempt.

Then once the Pred was winded he ran in a straight line almost taking a full clip 28 out of 30 bullets before he changed direction. Why did he run instead of leap away? The ranged plasma shots should have given him back his stamina to at least make a good escape.

Then the Pred proceeded on foot for as long as we can see him on the video and gave up instead of continuing to run which he should have had decent amount of time left in second wind.

Next Video also seemed to be a very inexperienced Pred. The Pred crouch walked uncloaked while looking for the FT in the open, not in a tree or hidden behind a bush or foliage?

Then once he was shot he instantly zoned in on Arnold for a Combi throw that barely missed but then didn’t follow up with another ranged attack or even reposition so Arnold couldn’t keep shooting him. Instead he took some bullets then crouched motionless long enough for Arnold to reload and unload a full clip into him.

Now maybe he was aiming his crouch slam but I find it odd that he was so close to on point with the Combi but took that long to target a slam and that he stayed in one spot while taking bullets. I would think instinct alone would tell a player to move if they are taking multipe shots. But he didn’t, he took part of one clip a reload and a full clip before he moved.

Then he casually walked after the slam allowing Arnold to hit him some more. The Pred was already out of the stuck animation from slam so why walk not run or leap away? Then the Pred reengaged I guess because that was the EFIL site and he wanted Arnold enough to risk it. But once he was winded he went in a straight line to heal and tried to heal within walking distance of Arnold. I’m not sure why Arnold went the way he did at first, I guess he assumed the Pred jumped more then once and changed direction?

So in my opinion this wouldn’t make a good point for the game to balanced around this kind of Pred gameplay. And I’m not saying it’s balanced now but I just feel this Video and Gameplay is not a good argument for a basis to balance the game around.

This didn’t happen to me just this YouTuber, all I’m saying is the parry System seems to be to good at its job, even as a Predator I used the staff and kept getting parried and I thought it was my stamina

Well they already adjusted it 3 times since launch and the last one reduced the stun to the point you can’t do anything but stab the Pred, it’s to short bro run away now. Lots of ways around it too, equip a net gun.

Combi thrown at their legs when they pull out their knife, then step to their back and wrist blade them.

My play style is impatient, I used to be hunter class till the update and switch to berserk since I’m doing better taking down Dutchs 87-2025, Assaults and Supports

As a pred main I have to agree with you - useing all the tools at preds disposal basically makes parry useles against him

ah yes Fireteam premade, one on a roof and you can’t approach anything and them they just have to charge you mindlessly like zombies and deal tremendous damage lol. (and its even more true on backwater) oh and mudded fireteam are more stealthy than cloaked pred.

Yeah. Ft is so stealthy man, like when they do anything like mudding up, spotting meds or ammo, getting heal, etc. They don’t shout at all and put a big sound bubble on your thermal visor. Not to mention they can stand still and be completely invisible. And their weapons man… Their weapons are so silent… Specially that revolver everyone loves.
