Op, or not op? (Poll)

Look I agree with you earlier melee needs a more complex system.

What about noobs?
Were supposed to make it easy for them?

As far as fps goes.
I dont understand why people consider this needing skill.

Like aiming and reflexes.
When I used to play mw3 and run over pretty much everyone in that game, I never considered what I was doing extremely skillful because it’s just gun play.

I was looking at them, and pressing a button.
I wasnt jumping around, not doing any fancy shit.

Not only that, it was pretty fkn easy.
But, it wasnt easy just for me.
It was easy for a lot of other people as well.

So how can something so fuvking simple and easy require this magical level of skill you guys keep talking about?

I honestly feel it takes actual skill to beat an old school game compared to a fps.

A game I would say requires skill to beat, is shinobi for the ps2.

As far as fps needing skill?
Maybe halo games on the highest difficulty.

Even then tho, stay to cover, play smart, you should be fine.

Let me be clear as well.
When I say what I do, I’m not saying it to just be some cocky asshole.

I genuinely do not understand why people consider fps needing skill, when it’s so easy.

That’s where I’m coming from.

No, we should make sure that noobs don’t have play styles that let them floor other noobs (aka melee). Its about balancing the game at different skill brackets.

Now if shooting takes no skill then everybody I play with would have damage equal to mine in most games. Now, when I do 3-4 k damage and they got around 300… There must be something that makes that difference. Aiming, reflexes, positioning, deciding what to do when, all take skill, its not just about point or shoot or the bow would not be the most skill demanding weapon the pred has.

Fps is more about battlefield awareness and reaction speed.

What…? I’m unsure what you mean by this.

Have you grouped up with other good players to see how well you stack up against them?

Cause I wanna say in randoms or lower end groups I’m typically doing the highest pred damage.

But if I play with a good group, it’s on and off.
Meaning il get good damage sometimes, with one other person, and then other matches theyl get higher damage than me.

Even with a good group it’s rare for all players to get around the same damage.

As for the whole noob thing, I get what you’re saying, but if you make it easier for them, you fuck over higher level play.

I dont mock you even when others do, why do it to me -_-.

We are comparing single player games with pvp games? Really?

Try to follow me on this, I’m not talking about any player based variable here.

I’m purely talking about ingame and characters.
The ft does more damage at a faster rate, and has more damage potential than the pred.

That’s what in talking about.

It was one of the few games that I could think of that require skill to beat.

You cant compare a single player to a pvp. Pvp have infinite options and a learning curve, plus you are fighting against other people. A single player is againt bots. Now I understand why you were telling that fps games require no skill, that is a sacrilege. You are one of those fun of souls games. Man, no offense, you don’t know what you are talking about. If fps require no skill why I don’t see your name in e-sport scoreboards? On 28th you can invite me with your team with best roster and fight me. If ft require no skill I want to see my ass get kicked.

Because it’s not close to true that an ft is as deadly as the predator. I suppose I read it wrong and your talking about a whole team vs the predator. Then I suppose you’re right in terms of total health vs dps, but the predator can heal to 100% after each claim, but the fireteam is permanently 25% weaker total health and DPS after each claim, until they can get a reinforcement.

I consider souls pretty easy tbh, as long as you learn what to do. Tho this can applied to any game, old school games are harder.

The game I was talking about was shinobi for the ps2.its one of the few games that I can think of which requires skill to beat.

If I’m honest?
I’m just pissed off and tired, that I always at least try, I attempt to understand where other ppl are coming from, but no one does the same for me.

Its fucking stupid.

If COD kept the same format as mw3, focused on harcore, and didn’t have stupid rules and limits, I probably would.

But I dont care enough to do it.
I can. But it’s not fun. At that point it becomes a job, and the rewards or anything obtained from that victory, in esports, is nothing I want.

The ONLY game I would train and push myself that hard in, would be if they revived fair arena in dfo.

That is the only game that I feel if I won a tournament in, it would be worth my effort and make the point I want to make.

Unfortunately it doesn’t exist anymore.

Just because I can do something, doesn’t mean its worth it.
Especially if I was doing it just to impress other people, and not for my self.

I dont care about what people think in that sense. I’m not an attention seeker.

As for beating you.
The ppl who I used to play with who I trust, all got bored of PHG.
So I have no team.

Second, if i beat you it wouldn’t really prove anything.
Same thing if you win.

It wouldnt change the genre up.
It would have too many personal factors in it.

If you really want to do it, I will.
Might be fun, might be not.

Honestly now a days I chase fun more than victory.
Bet you didnt know that tho.

Anyways you let me know.
I should be able to throw together a team tho.

But my heart wont really be in it.

I dont really disagree with any of that.
But I still dont see why you mocked me.

Its whatever, no one really tries to understand where I’m coming from anyways. Gets annoying.

In a single player the difficulty is standard (depending on the game). In a pvp game it depends on the person you are fighting against, it can be super easy or super hard , or even impossibile. You can’t compare single player games to pvp games.

My earlier post has been edited to reflect a more genuine misunderstanding. My bad.

You want my honest opinion? I agree.

But like I said, shinobi for the ps2 is the only game that comes to mind that I can think of that I genuinely feel it requires skill.

As for pvp, theres always some cheap thing you can do to win.

Il even extend an olive branch tho.
For the most part in fps, you can shut down cheap shit.

I’m not a complete arrogant blind asshole.
Dont be fooled by how I talk.

I just genuinely, dont consider fps as a true skill based game.

That’s all.
I dont say that trying to shit on people.

Lol I was a bit annoyed but that was about it.
No real harm done.

Cause if it was like you said, where you thought I meant 1v1, I completely agree. Pred has the advantage and is deadlier.

Eh.
If you’re referring to what I told arrow, I would honestly just call the other groups I know. They’d be down and might have fun.

But I dont really see too much of a point anyway in that fight.
I’m down. But win or lose I dont see a point.

Besides you got a new group you’ve played with for like a month, no? Lol.

Tbh if I were to call anyone to group up, it would be to team up as pred. Lol.

OP? Like, Original Post?
