Optimal Loadout Creation

Been talking to a few people and might wanna put it out there.

What is your opinion of what constitutes maximizing a loadout?

Balancing the class weaknesses or buffing their strenghts?

There’s not right or wrong answers. For me, I like to buff their strengths

Ex.

Scout + Duelist with DoubleTime and Bane (obviously with 1011)
Assault + Deadly with Bane and OWLF (obviously with bullet based assault rifles)
Support + Overseer +Thick Skin, Medkits and Ammo (I hate Field Medic as pred and I don’t like to lose health because I’m picking up someone)

Samurai + Ghost + Fearless with Axe (as much as 152HP in a single hit without using exploit)
Valkyrie + Fervent/Savage + Adrenal Boost (infinite leaping and running away, either extra damage or extra health against potatoes)
Scout + Analytic + Downrange + Adrenal Boost (good luck catching me) obviously disk/bow/plasma/pistol

Recon with the minigun.
Everything else in the build doesnt matter.

Best set up in the game.

Achieving equilibrium between both aspects as both are very important.

Play to their strengths and their weakest area

So mostly to their strengths but the also the area where they are weakest

I mean the meta loadouts are pretty much around using the same kind of perks/gear/weapons on any class.

For Assault maximizing its dmg output or making it tanky both works, I would say I even prefer the later, the dps of the ft with meta weapons is already high enough, assault already has passive of 10% dmg boost. I like running it mostly with gearhead and thick skin.

Scout the best build for me is is thick skin, action hero and double time, buff speed which is its strengh and minize the weakness of low hp by increasing it. Most classes I go with the same logic, the meta perks are what they are, makes any class good. Only class I would only focus on tis strenghts is support cus the perk point dont allow, so either have gearhead or thick skin to make the class even more tankier or carry even more gear. For Predator I think it depends on the class, for me adrenal boost is more of a thing to use to minimize the weakness of the classes that have it low, or in case of Elder/Cleo it also helps to get the dmg boost from Stalker easier.

Putting on a Valky/Scout/Falconer is a waste, you don’t need that much stamina but for the later 2 you do need more hp and energy which kind of makes you waste perk slots to fix that if you want instead of meta perks which work great on more balanced classes since you don’t need to spend a perk slot to fix its weakness.

That’s the good thing about Hunter/City/Valky. Their stats are overall well balanced, they are manageable to use without adrenal or impenetrable so they allow to use perks that can assist more in winning like downrange/medic/large pouch/lens.

As for the Axe I don’t think any dmg boost is necessary, most times its gonna take one heavy + one light attack to down most classes, if you have ghost spec on top of that you really dont need more dmg. But all melee classes have low stamina which is necessary to use melee and a weakness of it. For melee builds having adrenal boost helps more fearless, unless its valkyrie. For most classes with an Axe build I would just run medic/large pouch/adrenal.

A good example of maximizing strenght and minimizing weakness on a class is Elder with lens/downrange/adrenalboost. Weakness of stamina is solved, lens + dowrange + stalker + having higher energy reserves allows for bringing the best of plasma.

Thanks for the input bro

I do like to alternate my assault between TS + OWLF and Bane + HipFire
Depends on the team. For potatoes I’ll bring the tanky one. For premades I’ll bring the damage boost just because.

I still don’t have enough experience as pred, but I feel Valk with Adrenal boost just has the right amount of stamina every pred should have. I move a lot because I aint that good and is the only way for me to survive longer.

That’s also why I avoid every other pred class. I just feel I can’t play as good as with valk

I like playing towards the classes strengths, like cleo I use stalker with the perks adrenal boost, large pouch, and downrange too boost her damage to the fullest potential.
