So here’s something for y’all to try
First set your monitor resolution ON WINDOWS to something like 1080P or 1440P. Do not use the game resolution setting.
Start the game and set it to Windowed fullscreen mode
Set all graphics setting to Cinematic. Your framerate will drop dramatically.
Hit F11 and resize the window to about 1/4 of your screen size. Framerate will now be much better.
Hit F11 again to toggle fullscreen
Your framerate should now be way better
I forgot to mention you will have to do this every time the game starts, as the optimized graphics settings are not stored permanently and it doesn’t show what gets modified. Game still looks good though.
Also, if you have a powerful enough CPU/GPU you might give it a try using 4K resolution on Windows. This game is very CPU intensive. I noticed about a 40FPS increase by upgrading my cpu from 4cores/8threads to 8cores/16threads using the same GPU
maybe they did optimizations , this patch i got fps boost

If you use epic, go to settings, scroll down to manage games and put this in:
I don’t recall how to use additional command line arguments on steam offhand but it’s possible there too and you should get some extra performance outta the game by adding it in.
Take the folder, move to trash.
