So I was thinking. If there was an option to let’s say, hold the stim button to increase the speed of healing but your healing animation stays until it’s done, disabling use of weapons and slowing you down. Just thought it would be a neat addition and dynamic to healing in this game.

It’s honestly pretty damn slow. Not to mention if you’re taking enough damage while using it, it literally barely heals you. With drawbacks like ive mentioned would balance it out. I don’t know. I know the stim is useful but alot of the time it seems extremely lackluster
I just have to disagree. It’s basically instant heal. It’s so fast or can be used mid melee parry nonsense
I thinks it’s pretty far from instant heal XD but I get it. It’s effective, but what I’m Saying is that it’s not going to be used in that situation in a 1v1. Given potential drawbacks it can only be used situationally or you can try to use it in high risk factors but ultimately I think a dynamic would be fresh
It’s a 5 seconds to heal 100 health. You also are vulnerable for about.5-.75 seconds. It’s 20 health every second. That’s not even enough to stop a single attack from a pred.

Yea… that’s not that good in high strain situations like Exfil and missions were you get bombarded by AI and the pred alike. Taking cover and healing is always an option but AI always know where you are and currently have pin point accuracy when you’re moving if you can have just a small dynamic to just heal faster would be okay.
It’s not like I’m asking for a completely different rework on stims like Holy fuck lol it’s a very simple and slight change to healing.
It can, you essentially need to drive off the pred with damage otherwise they won’t care and then just quick claim you (which needs to be removed from the game entirely.)
When a class can have up to 200 health and the syrette only heals 100 in 5 seconds but while you’re taking stacked damage from AI it effectively does nothing other than barely keep you alive. If that’s the point, sure. Though I’m not convinced that the syrette is balanced the way that it is now.
It sucks too when you don’t have a supporting team mate or even someone running support in general and not dishing you out heals even when they have the means too. This dynamic would combine with the different class variables and be more useful to the squishier classes rather than the chunkier ones.
Well medbags were heavily nerfed into the ground. They are almost not worth taking anymore. At least not worth taking on anyone other then support.
Yea that’s another thing to mention as well. And other than the standard med kits that are always in certain spawns it’s all random. And you could be stuck with a mission or an area with no gear supply or health kits. It’s hard sometimes.
Well, if reds are smart (which they aren’t) they get a MASSIVE advantage when spotting interacables. And thus able to easily destroy them. So you would never know if any actually spawned on the map (other then the mandatory ones) if the pred destroyed them.
The syringe dynamic is nice though. Hold to be more vulnerable but quicker healing.
If the Predator destroys any gear boxes or health spawns I usually always see the black char left behind. Not alot of Preds do this anyway though. Some do. It’s really a good strategy
It’s an easy strategy. Flick on IR, destroy stuff. Done. Move on.
