Just had a match where I picked one up but the predator killed himself and I didn’t get anything for it so lame

You can pick up recordings in solo matches on your own in private if you look hard enough. I’ve tested it.

As he said, you can farm them in private matches. However, you need chopper escapes to keep them.

Yes, only Private matches AS fireteam,and leaving in the chopper will give you the OWFL tapes. NOT as predator.

can you still find them in private matches i have played about 10 and still have not found any i heard they pop up the most in derailed map at the station buildings and i still have not found any

Yes you can still find them. Only one spawns per map and it can be anywhere on the map. You just gotta search everywhere.
