OWLF trained

There is no debate. Thick skin is always better than OWLF trained if you only pick one. If you want to be a extra tanky assault, you could spend all your points on thick skin and OWLF trained, sure.

My point is I keep seeing FT randoms choosing OWLF trained alone. I feel that they must not know it only reduces damage by 5 percent.

Solution: add a description of what OWLF trained actually does, so new players can make an informed decision.

Wait, its only 5 percent? Why does it cost so much then? Thick Skin costs the same and gives more health to everyone, (15 I think) You’d need to have 300 health with OWLF to even match the increase.

I think it’s so each class has a hard limit on health. Assault with thick skin and OWLF trained has effectively 173, less than support. Same for recon and scout, with both perks it’s about 147 effective health, less than assault.

IMHO, OWLF trained should only cost 2 points.
