Mkay imma have to restate what @Fire said because all of you are more stubborn than a blast door.
IllFonic is both incompetent and lazy. They made this game as a cheap cash grab to fund their other pet projects and put PHG on the backburner.
Nowadays they just just do the bare minimum by releasing a new pred every 2 months for a steady income bump. And they can’t even do that right, as the textures are generally busted & it ends up breaking the games spaghetti code even more.
So IllFonic obviously isn’t trying, but also fails at doing their mini-cash grab DLCs correctly. A certain ex-moderator wasn’t lazy, but was extremely biased and incompetent.
So IllFonic is both lazy and incompetent, and as such has neither my sympathy or respect. You all can stop being a perpetual motion machine now.

I think Rigtikt, Thunderwolf, Samhain, and Gesp produce the best quality information that can be utilized in good practice however is worlds apart, it’s amazing we all play the same game

I played one round as Pred on hardcore mode because someone said “it was easier for pred”
No it wasn’t… I got melted even faster than I normally am.
Its an even more glass cannon game mode.

For average ft players it might be a good nerf, but on good FT players is too much of a nerf for pred that won’t really nerf FT that much
FT has perma medkits, they don’t need the map to find them. Pred relies on random spawned boars (if they even spawn). Without a map you’ll have a hard time finding them.
You can’t see how damaged you are unless you uncloak
The lower FT damage is simply not enough when FT can still bring in specializations, bane and passives
Adjustments can be made, who said you can’t bring back HUD on for example?
but the buffs are fucking useless. Just look at the fucking plasma pistol buff. Who uses the fucken thing anyway? it’s a piece of shit with or without the buff.

pistol buff is actually good. I use it all the time. Very good up close, as it is more of a shotgun and deals a lot of damage if you hit all 3 projectiles. Far better and more useful than using melee and far easier to use than the disk. The hitbox is also bigger than that for the combi throw and bow which are arguably better weapons.
You can buff the plasma pistol to one shot though
Yeah the Plasma Pistol is shockingly good these days, I honestly think it might be better than the Bow right now, especially with how fucked up the Crossair & aiming for the Bow has become recently. Has great damage output, the spread enables a wide hitbox & ya don’t have to retrieve your ammo.
I usually run bow and pistol. Fuck melee, hahahaha I’ll switch to bow whenever I need to reload because it takes forever to do it
BTW how would you feel about a Hardcore with the HUD turned back on, Mini-Map Enabled for Predator, Ammo values restored to normal for both sides, Scanning re-enabled for Pred, with their Health & 2nd Wind returned to normal. Keep everything else about Hardcore the same.

The way we’ve been doing privates lately, at least when I play pred, is with FF on and no spotting. That is good enough for me to survive longer. I’m do not expect to win against sam, beer, riktig, etc. but at least I appreciate not being rick rolled
