well that only requires skill if your health is limited. If you are able to jump in and get one kill while 3 people are actively shooting you and you don’t die, that requires no skill and then there’s no point in playing FT like that because then there’s no chance of beating you.

Evetyone thinks that you should automatically get melted just for melee.

Like you should be able to come in and hit 2 times at the very least with out getting out into second wind.

You’re literally eliminating 50% of preds arsenal simply because you prefer and believe ft should have the advantage.

My playstyle back when I actually played was always change it up depending on the situation.
Literally cant do that anymore because melee is useless. I’m forced to be range and only using one thing is extremely boring.
Part of why I lost interest in this game.
Literally I just wish above all else you guys would just accept that you basically have the mage mentality, where you dont want anything to get close and you hate melee.
Because even with what I’ve mentioned, if the ft is working together, you’re going to be able to keep pred at bay.
So no, I’m not saying go in and kill, I’m saying being able to go in and poke and then switch it up.
Just so theres more variety.
One more thing.
Back in year one it was literally around 45-50% less damage on ft.
Maybe like 25-35% for the snipers.
And even with that damage a full melee zerk wouodnt be able to kill someone if all ft payed attention.
Even back then when people complained about zerks, the group I played with we ran them over damn near every match.
Your math is flawed. No it wasn’t 50% less. Specializations and perks can buff damage at most, to 150%, but bane has been in the game since day 1, so, back then FT damage was actually around 30% less from what is now. 50% of 150 is 75, not 100. 30% of 140 (since we can’t include bane buff) is around 98%
Good, it shouldn’t. You can’t nerf one side to the point it becomes pointless to play it. If all the FT can’t kill the pred when focused on it, then how the fuck are they gonna be able to kill it?
I agree with that, but making melee so buffed that you can jump in swing the combi and down and kill one player while the other three are focused shooting you and you are not punished enough, is pointless. Go heal, eat a boar and then next next netx, you win. Congratulations, a 5 year old potato just won against CSGO veterans
BTW I still see good pred players jump in with the axe or hook and win against good PC premades. Just because you can’t do it anymore doesn’t mean is impossible

Could be fun. And who knows, some mad lad would reverse engineer the game, make their own mods and a new game can be based off of it like Dota all stars.
The base games sucks too much to draw interest

This is the wrong game to even think of associating it with the word “Tournaments”. 🤣
Let these guys finish developing their other cash grabs first, pray they fix this shit, and maaaaayyyybe start thinking about it.
In my opinion, one thing that makes tournaments less interesting for this game at this time is that it has already been established who all the top tier players are. Therefore, there’s kinda no point in participating or spectating a tournament because the winners of the matches would be predictable.
I think tournaments in the early days of this game’s life was a lot more interesting because no one knew who all the top tier players were at the time. Therefore, those tournaments were a lot more fun to watch. I remember discovering Onskie for the first time from one of the early tournaments and I was blown away by his smart disc gameplay because I hadn’t seen anyone use the smart disc like that before.
