Parry is unbalanced

The Fireteam needs a significant nerf to their melee damage against the Predator, as well as their ability to parry.

It is entirely possible for a Scout to solo a Predator by just facing towards them and spamming melee; no need to time your hits either. I’ve had matches where the Fireteam just ran straight ahead at a Berserker and knifed him to death, no strategy or planning involved either.

The Predator got spotted all day, lost the smart disc and then came close to attack a single Recon that broke off; the Recon staggered the Pred long enough for the rest of the team to box him into a corner. Predator barely gets away since he was colliding with the Fireteam and the corner of a building, but then the Recon just chases after them and ends their life while the Pred tries to heal.

It shouldn’t be this easy to take on a Pred in melee, sure it puts a stop to the combistick spam, but it just does it by being a more OP and unfair strategy. As of right now the Predator has no viable skills against an organized team regardless of skill.

Most of my Pred matches make feel like the prey, rather the skilled alien hunter I’m supposed to be. All my wins have come from playing defensively and squirrelling away whenever the Fireteam starts spamming spot.

But the fact remains that even the “most viable” option of meleeing people down can be easily countered by an ever cheesier strategy.
