Yautja Bow fast, close shots than wrist blade melee once or twice and jump out. If you’re spamming melee with the Predator, especially combistick, yo gonna get le parried.
I think they wanted to punish melee spamming for the Pred.

parry kid are ez to 1v1 with eldersword or wristblade:
first time do two quick stripe the first gonna hit the second parry, jump above the guy with you’r classic jump, its enough and you will fall back behind him he wont be able to turn enough and you willbe able to lend another hit, repeat the process again and again ultil he is down.
if using the elder sword, strike rigth and left with it, the knive can block front attack but if you strike on the FT flankit wont block you, the unique animation of the sword are also very hard to parry .

I don’t have an issue with parrying, I still get downs and kills with melee. You have to be strategic.

From day one i play only predator. And that parry was really scary from the start. But now the parry/knife masters as i call them are so easy to deal with. And is even more fun if some dude is talking shit to me like. Come here bitch, il parry u to death… and seconds after that as he is crawling on the ground he starts to cry that i play like pussy and im trash and bla bla bla… who is trash? Me standing or your headless corpse on the ground? parry now is useless…

Come on dude, there’s gotta be at least some option available for the Fireteam to win in a 1v1 situation. If you don’t like parry, don’t engage. Stop asking the devs to Nerf stuff because you’re too lazy to get tactical. I’ve had heaps of absolutely amazing battles at the end of a game because we were down to the wire in a duel. It’s good fun and makes things more even.

The joke here is that Illfonic “supposedly” nerfed the parry.The reality is, its all a lie.
i hear you, i say remove parry but also remove claw lock on and all melee AOE damage from predator. its absolutely criminal as a predator that we have unlimited energy for ammo on the plasma caster and plasma gun. FT drains through syringes like heroin addicts to the needle.

Melee spam exists just to land a random parry on the predator i have seen it so many times by playing as a predator all u have to do is attack at a different angle lol and jump and repeat the same

Perry need to stay on the game but right now is too easy to perry a predator. They need to adjust the melee mechanic, like making it harder but more rewarding if you play smart. Like making a perk or a buff that allow you to do a melee attack and start the run animation instantly (as you can do with bow). This one can help people to harras and dodge some bullets also from close range, at the same time it s harder ti master and not braindead like the actual melee. Right now the close range fight is not viable agaisnt good ft and the only think you can do from close range is one arrow and jump away or run side to side or spear throw and jump away.
Learn to melee. If you keep smashing that melee is very easy to time it and keep parrying and hit you in between each parry. Do random melees or flee. Or just do something else after being parried.

If they were to change parry I’d say remove the stun but increase stamina lost from getting parried as Predator.
