Parrying and wrist blades

The fireteam needs more of a roll than a parry. Parrying a predator makes no sense. Plus it stuns the predator which doesn’t make any sense. A roll/dodge would be better because it makes sense and it would take stamina and i would say max 2-3 rolls before loss of stamina. I say this because predator can punch holes in brick walls and knock arnold 6ft back in the movie when he blocks. Also the way a predator attacks with wrist blades is ridiculous. It stands still while the FT member moves away blasting you in the face. It needs a better following mechanic. And atleast a 3 combo then if a dodge is timed right it gets you out of predators combo and a chance to run or shoot again.

I’ve downed and claimed moving ft member with just wrist blades.

I have as well ive killed a whole team that way but its still to difficult especially with the parrying now. The berserker just stands in place while swinging them. Also he is slow enough already that its easy to outrun him as scout or recon if you parry turn and run. Even the hunter sometimes.

That’s why preds need to very their strategies and not just melee learn the different ranged weapons what they are capable of how to use them etc, strategize where you can place motion sensors, traps, audio devices etc.

But all that is for nothing when they practically have unlimited heals. Im proficient with the bow but it can take 3 shots to down someone and the smart disc has crappy range. Also there is a trophy for using only wristblades against all of them. The FT is op right now. I mean its sad when we drop the mission and just hunt the predator knowing we can kill it easily. Im guilty of doing that

With the bow a fully charged shot to the chest eats a ton of their health apparently and one fully charged shot to the head is a knock down, combi stick throw to the head knockdown and I don’t agree that the ft is as much as op just has quite a bit stacked against the predator

Eh i have had headshots with bow and still takes 2 shots. Combistick is predators only good weapon melee wise but with the equipment and weapons the FT has yes they are op especially on reinforcements. Now can you get them all downagain as predator…yea. But it makes FT not care as much knowing they can all spawn again. But ive read some comments or threads from others and it seems to be in agreement something needs to be done to FT.
