Great job on the patch so far. Played a few games as fireteam and a few as Predator and the game feels a lot more balanced on both ends. You are forced to play tactful and smart on both sides now which is what I expected. Stick together fireteams, and don’t bulldoze in predators and you will have fun. Play smart out there.

A lot of good changes. Parry/Stun still wack as fuck. Stun duration needs lowered, and Parry Stamina cost needs to be much, much higher. Should be able to parry no more than twice before becoming exhausted. I’m still seeing top players 1v1 the Predator without breaking a sweat.
And just FYI, while I do play the Pred, I mostly play as the fireteam. I just don’t like the mechanic and I think it’s still severely unbalanced.

Have you tried using the hand held plasma caster or the net gun in any of your load outs? These tend to take care of any parry capabilities in my experience. A well placed bear trap allows you to attack from behind as well.
Currently finding the new patch great. More chances for the predator to actually stand a chance, balancing Is really decent now.
It’s not that there aren’t ways to deal with it, just that it means falling back on the same tactics over and over. And it just doesn’t feel right. Stamina cost should be higher. Parry should slow the Pred, not stop him completely. Just enough for the fireteam to help. 2 parries max before stamina is drained.

Yeah I understand what you mean, I put this down to the current limited maps/weapon and perk pools. They need to add more perks and weapons to allow more methods of play. Games still relatively new, if they can keep balance fair and hopefully down the road add new modes/maps/perks/weapons/gear that allow for more ways to play. hopefully the game does well enough to continue to support.

I was very surprised when the patch hit yesterday and in my opinion, changed maaany things for the better. Have to say i’m a predator main who struggled a lot and lost dozens of games in a row (wasn’t interested in the berserker/combistick meta), tried to get better with the Yautja bow.
But I’m unsure how the balance at the moment really is. Are the FT mains just hurt that it’s no longer a cakewalk and need to adept new tactics, or is the game now in favor of the Predator? Personally i think that the advantages / disadvantages are now more even between the 2 sides.

my opinion is that of the patch has still to be polished, but it has balanced the game.
I am a player of both Pred and FT and say that I win games now as pred (before cost me my life ).
And since FT is no longer winning all the easy games, now you go with more fear and all more together, not so confident.
Little by little it will be polished more and more.
We are on the right track, we still have to reach the goal.
