So testing out in privates with friends on both scout and hunter. There is no change to the damage taken by the pred… So the 2xl does the same damage at close, mid, far range… Some with snipers… So all they managed to do is reduce Ai, screw up customization load times. and increase matchmaking wait time. Simply put they bent us over and poured lube all over out back and tore us a new one.
Patch changed nothing on damage reduction

Yeah we just spent the last 2 hours testing damage vs pre patch with screen shots. and such. Oh and knifing still forks the pred hard

Ever try to developed these kind of game? Yeah they won’t win GOTY any time soon but seriously. It IS very hard to balanced these kind of game. You won’t perfectly balanced them by developed them and only testing with devs. You need a real community who will use them and test them at full potential. Then they will read statistics and read feedback from forums. It is even harder with all these quarantines. Understand that you guys are frustrated but give them time. If they turned full EA then I support you guys to brash em. For now just give them more feedback. [Which is what we all are doing right now so that’s great btw.]

Yep, noticed same as with guns and with the knife. No reduction or at least super marginal that does not even produce any noticeable results.
I just noticed…Illfonic is allergic to showing numbers it seems. Both in and outside the game, we have NO idea what damage things do, or even %.
I agree but at the same time the changes they made or say they made. Simply aren’t there. An it seems they undid some changes from last patch. Have you been into the customization menu yet? If not go check it out. Even with a ssd it is terrible. The problem here is they are trying to appease everyone at once. They need to focus on small changes. The game has been out a week yes it is great this is a second patch. But i would rather this being the first patch that fix glitches and bugs. Then go into balance changes…

Damn totally agreed on that. But I guess it is hard for them to focus since a lot of people are complaining and ranting on General Discussion. It would be hard for them to focus on that unless they make announcement that they will focus on bug fixes etc.
I’ve got game play videos of this game on my ps4 so I’m going to play and take a video and compare that way. Good thing I’ve been saving the videos. So I can compare from the last up date. I’ve seen a lot of good things and a shit load of bad so we will see
Also with in game currency it is also reduced in matches. Blue gives 5 to 15 purple 25 to 75…

I’m honestly struggling to confirm most of the predator changes other then the PC is useless now.
illfonic has a bad history in f13 where they would fix some stuff but break a lot of other stuff and it seems they still havent learned there lesson from F13. so expect every patch to break a feww things in exchange of fixing others or claiming to fix stuff when it really isnt.

Personally i feel i take a lot less DMG from bullets, maybe it`s just me.
Okay don’t start to quick on the hate, you can’t predict shit (if I’m wrong I’m gonna one you a big apology) but give em a 2nd chance these guys had the balls to at least try this and it’s only update 2 give more time to figure shit out
