Call me crazy, but I have played a good variety of both fire-team and predator rounds. I thought it was pretty well balanced already. I have equally as many wins/losses in both play-modes. Maybe the people who thought predator was underpowered just weren’t good at playing as predator? I dunno. Seems fishy.

Nice. I like the improvement what you did to the bow where you can hold it for an extra 10 secs but can you please fix frame rate on console because when the Predator is near the frame drops and whenever you spawn in the frames also drop when your playing as Fireteam. I really do enjoy playing this game.

I kinda agree but at the same time if you stay in a group you will lazer the Predator. Plus that’s why the combi stick is lvl 42

Per the patch notes: gear weight cost for Med Kits and Ammo Bags has been increased, with their carry total reduced from 3 to 2.
Maybe I just totally suck at this game (very likely), but it feels like it was nearly essential to be running 2 (of the potential 3) items on Recon, those being the syringe and ammo. Given the lower starting HP (not to mention the Scout’s) + when using a sniper rifle on either class, this new change feels like it renders them… I wouldn’t say useless, but definitely more of a risky choice than it was before.
Sure, you still get to reap the other benefits, but having to choose between a syringe and an Ammo Pack feels like a gut punch. :) Feel like I need to switch to Assault main, just to be able to carry both.
I agree 100% that the Predator needed a buff, maybe just some more HP, but this feels like a bit of overkill.
Let the ‘git gud khed’ comments commence.
At the same time, would appreciate hearing some serious thoughts.
Loving the game nevertheless, such a pleasant break from DbD.

Whoever modified the grenade launcher, I highly recommend him to resign, besides the fact that you can’t kill anything, you risk hurting your colleagues. Even you.

You are a nutty and rude person. I don’t propose to make a predator a super killer for noobs, just at the moment (before this patch it’s for sure) I see that it’s much easier to play for FireTeam, I repeat that in 90% of cases the predator always loses, and 60% of these cases he dies . In almost every race we catch up with him and kill him without experiencing any difficulty. Because of this, the game for FireTeam turns into target shooting, it’s absolutely easy, there’s nothing to fear, and it’s not interesting. It would be much more interesting to shave bricks from fear playing for FireTeam. Playing as a predator, I use baits, traps, etc., but almost all of this does not work, because only a full noob can get into the trap. All baits and traps of the Predator make a sound, the predator can be marked at a great distance and it is very easy to get into it from this huge distance, because the weapon does not have dispersion during shots. I do not understand people who complain that it is difficult to play for FireTeam, they are either noobs or PS4 players. You’re probably a noob, bad-mannered and toxic person.

It literally just took me over 20 minutes to find a match as predator. You guys can’t do anything to shorten these times?

I think you forget the combination of perks you can have
It might help them to know what region you’re in.
I’m in UK, it’s about 5m here and the timer here’s been accurate 9 out of 10 times.

everyone is trying to play predator.
Dont search for more than 5-6 mins, if its longer cancel and try again. never leave it HOURS searching its just not going to find anything…
It encourages team composition instead of everyone having sniper aith everything… if you have a support guy he can carry everything still, I like the new changes it seems to have ballanced a lot more.
need to keep playing to be sure.

I like these changes you now have a bit more different approach and can use different tools. I’ll admit the second wind blinding was unnecessary. But this forces the ft to manage there inventory and actually not feel they got endless suppiles good stuff. Still gotta touch up the elder blade and war club tho.
There is stealth viability but a lot of predator players don’t understand out it works ? if you sit still while crouched you are 100% invisible but the game also doesn’t tell you much and u have to learn for yourself or use the internet.

lets say 1000 people here are looking for pred… that means 4000 people need to be looking for fire team! four thousand!
And nearly everyone wants to test pred now and see if hes fixed/better
(BTW he feels a lot more of a threat now)

I don’t normally play these online only games because the devs cater to whiners rather than looking at the numbers and making small adjustments to stuff. Illfonic bs’ed us during the trial saying that they would make small changes only based on the match outcome numbers. This is not small, these changes have been absurd. First way too much in favor of the Fireteam with the release day patch, now way too much in favor of the Preds. Looks like another soon to be dead game at this point, cuz you can’t do shit with nothing but Preds queueing up.
That only works if playing with friends, or having custom loadouts specifically set up for this.
Both of which shouldn’t have to be the only options.
