No more like unique abilities.
Like a hunter uses traps right?

So give him unique traps that are good, unlike the weak bear trap and net gun.

Theres older topics with a lot of good ideas.

I think the same. Like Berserker should be very strong at melee damage. Scout should be (it is) faster and stronger at long ranged weapons, but weaker at melee damage. Alpha should be an all in one, not strong nor weak, but all stats balanced. Hunter should be stronger with traps, netgun and bow, more sound details in vision mode and shorter time isolating temperature cooldown, but weaker at everything else.

You have the right idea, but I’m imagine more to it as well.

Like zerk would also get a grab and throw ability, or a strong tackle.

Scout can get a better plasma cannon with different settings.

Hunter gets 3 unique traps and 3 types of arrows.

Stuff like that.

Kinda feel like scout should have longer tracking ability. Can mark targets and longer range and the mark persists after line of sight is broken. Things like that.

But hunters track too right?

Idk, but stuff like this to make them feel unique would be awesome tho.

Hunters track, scouts observe. Hence more range to the scouts vision and marking over hunter.

For some reason, I thought of this.
Since you said observe what if they get scanned with a unique scout vision they take more damage cause you basically lock on to the head with a pc that has no aoe but works more like a bullet?

I think it would be cool. Lol

That could work too.
I threw a BUNCH of ideas like this out in the pred specializations thread. Specifically things like this in mind for scout

I think it’d be cool to have the invisible rope trap from AvP.
Only be able to place it by door ways or tree branches and when a Ft walks in it it’ll grab them by the neck
