This game was the first game I ever bought from illfonic, and I had never even heard of the company until I bought this game.
To be honest, from the first time I played this game, I felt that it wasn’t very well made. Operational feel as a Predator (jumping straight up due to tripping on a step, falling straight down after hitting a tree branch), lack of FT tutorial, etc.
But don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to badmouth illfonic. Some of the DLC was very good. In particular, City Hunter has unique gimmicks (net gun and disc storage) and roar (initially, the sound of a syringe was mixed in…💉).
Personally, the DLC I was most excited about was Valkyrie. She is still my favorite because she seemed like a cool woman. I bought a new PC at the time to see her underwear.
After a while, the DLC started to look bad.
Wolf (lack of body net and skin color bug)
Exile (dreadlocks look identical to Elder)
Free Feral mask (excessively large size and lack of fang animation)
Things like this kept happening. I’ve given up on illfonic and probably won’t be giving them any money or rewards in the future.
I’ve met some people through this game, and I’m a little jealous of people like @Papa_Applepie and @NomadClan who draw pictures and compose stories. There was a time when I wanted to become a manga artist. Maybe I should cut back on my gaming time and try my hand at studying and pursuing my dreams.
Just because I don’t play PHG anymore doesn’t mean I hate Predator anymore.
