Most things are just listed in patch note and not actualIy fixed.
I like how they treat in same way fireteam parry/knife damage and plasma caster damage. First one was bu**shit, second one was one of the few things realistic in this game, and they managed to screw it. First one is just a little bit harder to do, not removed how it should be. Then there is plasma caster… that was one out of few ways to down one fireteam member, and give them some trouble, before they all heal up, spot and hurt you or reinforce all members. They can see my laser and easily spot my position, in return I deal just a little bit damage to them before they heal up and start shooting me…
Also, they nerfed berserker & stick, ok fine, but reinforcements are still there, and it’s a little bit longer. That’s it. One member can 90% of the time escape and bring all of them back to life before I track him. Also also, reduced amount of AI spawned, now they can speed run the whole mission. AI danger? Nope. Plasma danger? Nope. Berserker & combistick? Nope. Smart disk, elder sword or war club? Nope. So i’m forced to use Yautja Bow and net gun, nice, which Predator uses the least in movies, or don’t use at all…
There is still healing issues. Too many ways for fireteam to heal up, still too much spawn medic. When I play as fireteam, I can pretty much save my heals for chopper waiting because I can find all medic I need in camps & random spawns. Second wind blinding effect is so stupid, what’s up with that!?
When I somehow manage to kill all of fireteam members, and try to claim all skulls, game just ends before I have time to do that, and then my kills are not counted and my XP at the end of a match, hahahahaha. Nice. Not to mention all other things that are “fixed”. Every patch increases time of waiting. No preference is just a fancy fireteam option, I played like 30 games in a row, everytime I’m a fireteam member, not a predator.
Now jump and slam is too OP for Predator, you even speed up and go on sliding after that. You can also hurt fiteream with a slam if you are on the roof of a building, and they are inside covered, like wtf!? Spoting pigs is just not good for me, that should be a challenge to find them, this way it’s just like you have a large amount of health when the match starts.
What do you think? I love this game and I’m a huge Predator fan, but I feel like they don’t care enough to fix it and make it great…
