PC and PS4 balance needs to be different...

I know this is probably controversial but I feel that the balance on PC and console needs to be different.

It wouldnt be fair to simply nerf all damage for PC players, and it wouldnt make sense to make it harder still for console players to aim like a mouse can.

Im starting to think that there needs to be different levels of balance for each platform.

Here are some quick ideas:

On a PC;
*Snipers need to be harder to shoot - make the bulet drop and lead harder to get right so aim skill is taken into consideration. I hear it has some of this already, and thats fine for consoles. but for PC its way to easy to hit.

On all platforms.
*All weapons need a damage fall off that fits their intended range (if they have one its not enoug)

Even the snipers should do less damage at extreme ranges. SMGs and Shotguns should never be able to deal their full damage numbers at “Assault rifle ranges”.

On PS4:
*Some aim assistance should be added in a subtle way.

Thoughts / additions / comments / ideas welcome.

PS4 bow is really hard to aim.
PC bow is now in a good place.

Pred is moving too slowly when aiming bow or chargins plasma though. gets ranged down too easily.

I was thinking that when you hit ai or fireteam in the legs they should slow their movements like ai runs for alarm take out his knees, or as pred when you have the one guy that lags behind the group wouldnt it be reasonable that an arrow to the leg should slow him for 120 seconds or something and only full heal will give you back your original movement but syringes wont this would lead to more singled out fellas getting killed one at a time like a pred should

I said something similar a long time ago. Arrows do slow them a tiny bit but not for long enough with the effort required to hit.

Then that is something they should work on both ways bow aim and that trait I think it would add realism

the problem is the moment this happens crossplay might not work anymore as then the games will be using different versions
though it might be the best course of action

There is also spot spamming but the real problem is how do they separate pred spots from item spots becuase I would be for a limit in pred spots but I dont want to limit my communications about items like 500 veritanium and stuff

im fine with spotting the pred moving, climbing and all the rest. But if he is still and 100% invis, spot should not work at all no matter if you point it at him and KNOW hes there, it still should not spot it. They can put the eye icon on the general area sure, thats fine. but spotting something invisible isnt spotting its guessing.

There is also the issue that a lot of good teams dont even need to spot they just shoot first and spot after, they know where you are becuase of the sound.

Predators stealth needs working on so he can close the distance without being ranged down so easily.

Not make him totally invisible all the time and 100% silent, that would be too much. but between that and where we are now there is a much better balance to be had.

Hm, i think that can be accounted for. they only disallow mismatched versons for certain reasons, they could allow PC-PS4 mismatch but not allow PS4-PS4 and PC-PC mismatch for example.

Just for reference Billy knew the predator was there he looks right at it but doesnt actually yell it’s there so I can see this point of no spotting cloaked with the green helmet, but from fireteam side it just fills your field up with eyeballs and makes it harder to spot your actual target to me and like you mentioned I dont use it first I shoot first then say look here. So I think a change would help stop the spammers and make for a better game from fireteam side

For aiming, what about placing a hard cap on movement/second or some such value that was the same for both platforms regardless of input sensitivity settings?

fuck no, that would make PC people explode! . just need to add aim assist to console
