The second you hit the main menu on PC after this 2.02 update it immediately closes program the desktop. cant even hit setting before it crashes

I was fine until today, even played a few matches, but get this.
After playing as the Predator and killing FT team (won the game), the game itself crashed to desktop.
I thought, meh, it happens.
Started my game again and as soon as it came to the main menu it crashed again.
I restarted my PC, logged in to the Epic account, started the game, main menu and them boom, crashed to desktop again.
I updated my Nvidia graphics driver to the latest, restarted my PC, started the game and as soon I got to the main menu, it crashed again. Did a restart again, started the game and it crashed again.
Is there any fix for this? I never had this problem before.

I have the same issue. And I as well played a few matches yesterday before the game crashed (the moment I bought the Vex helmet). After that the game would load through authentication and authorization screen just fine, but the moment the game menu pops up, it disappears and I’m back to desktop.
I opened a ticket and they’re having me jump through hoops to provide files and logs from my PC, which I’ve done (no reply yet to those files), but I know when all is said and done it’s on THEIR end, and not mine.
If I delete and reinstall I don’t think anything would change, and I don’t know if I’ll lose any progress (I imagine I won’t, or at least shouldn’t), but it would be a waste of a couple of hours reinstalling and the problem is STILL on their end.
I’m a bit upset. I’ve been playing only about 2 weeks and can’t even open the game now.
ACIG grenade is causing this.
As soon as you play a game and go back to the menu it crashes.
Every time you try load the game it crashes at the menu.
Only fix is to clear save data.
Pitbull doesn’t do this but can’t speak for the uav
Well I’ve never equipped the grenade and don’t have a Fireteam load out at all, so that’s not it. The fix is correct though
there could be more to it (maybe even the wrist launcher).
But definitely the ACIG. tested it again and again and as soon as I equip it and play a game a crash occurs.
I’ve gone a day without a crash because I haven’t equipped the ACIG in any loadout.

Mate I’ve played loads of game with ACIG and UAV, even recorded those gameplays for my YouTube channel. It isn’t ACIG that csuses this. I can’t be in the main menu for more than 3 sec now and I used to play for hours with ACIG and UAV loadout just fine.
We all have gotten the same problem around the same hour, here and on Reddit. I’ve compared the time ppl started posting about this problem to my time when it started happening. It seems that we all got the same problem at the same time.

Daamn same problem for me too…on Pc.
Same problem with me. I buy Dutch 87 today and played one game, when I found 2nd game there was no pred there and I just exit from lobby to main menu. Then game closed and exit to desktop. When I tried to launch game it loads and when main menu appears game crash again
Where we can find this ‘save data’ to delete it?
Yea same problem on pc. I only get to play one game after deleting the saved files and then crashes again. Hopefully its hot fixed soon because it’s unplayable right now. There goes my 48 hrs of 2x xp ha. They need to have a double xp weekend or something to compensate us for this bug.
I just encountered this problem for the first time right now, i tried starting the game for the 6th time now and it always crashes back to the desktop as soon as i reach the main menu without any error message or anything.

It is very nice. But this is just a temporary fix. I got crash again after some customization.
A week has passed since this bug appears. I am speachless …

After deleting files. Don’t name your loadouts and don’t use revive syringe. I followed this and I didn’t had a single crash since.
had it too and i dont use uav or those itts something else deleted save files everything normal again
delete saved data , On PC, close the game, paste this into your file explorer bar and hit enter: %localappdata%\Spacefish
and delete the folder Saved in there. Launch the game again
