I’m sure it would continue. High ground is always important. I just think it would not be nearly as effective when the predator can actually get closer to the fireteam without being spotted and/or take damage.

PS4 pro should be 1080/60 at least and PS4 slim needs to option to further lower the graphics to get a solid 60fps. This is a crossplay game for crying out loud! You have to be completely idiotic or oblivious to crossplay if your on pS4. They need to remove crossplay entirely if they can’t make it fair.

@Fire How exactly can playing a game on console feel better then on a PC? Serious question here? What does your console do that you can’t replicate on a PC?
The fact that they won’t pay for a desktop PC that can run it is all. The parts and labour alone is probably the biggest factor keeping ppl from going the PC route. But if you’re already there, might as well keep on buying.

If its because of money… I can understand that but he said it feels better on console. I would also like to point it the money up front is more. The discounts, free games, no PLUS service (to play online) eventually get’s you below consoles (probably but its damn close at least).

The only incentive is that graphically, games on PS are optimized for PS and nothing more. It still heats up like a mothertrucker but at least you know it won’t bluescreen.At least if you keep it cleaned.
By better on console, its more of a peace of mind that a game won’t brick your system more than a powerout will.
But I’ve played PHG on PlayStation…not my cup of tea. But ive got the convenience that my PlayStation is an alternative. My PC is my main gaming machine and even times I mostly plug in the PS controller. FPS are mainly a keyboard/mouse setup. Dont doubt that FPS shooters were made on desktop well before controllers/play station was put on the market.

Control sticks =/= verticality in games. Console was the intended platform hence the trees. Its a pain in the ass to look up compared to mouse.
Sticks usually just stay level in shooters + some strafing. Mouse is freer movement.
I don’t even remember the last time I’ve got a blue screen on my PC, I think its way back when my SSD started showing signs of failing. Never had a game brick my PC.
BTW, I’ve got a PS4 right on my desk, I play PS4 exclusives on one of my monitors but I really don’t see what a PS4 can do that a PC can’t (and even better).
All the predator weapons are unbalanced. They all down you in 3 hits or less. Some in just one. The game is what it is. You won’t see me asking for nerfs or buffs. You play with what you are given and make the best out of it. That simple.
The weapons are fine, FT can down a pred in 1 clip. They do become a problem when you couple them with pred stealth, speed and leaping. Its very hard to track him and actually shoot at him. That is why they need some rebalancing (the pistol for instance).
Platformers and games where walk speed matters. Games with 360 movement/turns whereas mouse accels at shooters 100%
So plug a controller in the PC or am I missing something?

Controller support is a pretty recent thing outside 3rd party programs.
Before this it was playing dark souls 2 and fighting games with an adapter because it played like shit with pc controls. Then you had to deal with input lag through emulators etc. There’s a such thing as BAD PC ports.
From what I know, XBOX controllers have been working fine for a very long time.

Yup. Since the XBOX 360 came out almost all games support that controller. PS4 controller has native drivers for PC as well, all you need is a BT dongle if your PC doesn’t have BT. Steam even has options to emulate K&M for games that don’t support controllers… and then there’s reWASD, which lets you emulate anything on anything (emulate K&M on any controller, emulate XBOX or DS on K&M, etc.)
No FT weapon can “down” or even second wind a full health Pred on “1 clip” unless the Pred is just standing still at point blank range. That is almost impossible to achieve in this game, even on a lame Pred
The lack of hackers makes it feel better. That’s about it.
I have a feeling the people saying that have underpowered rigs or are the ones exploiting low graphics.
