PC to PS4 crossplay

I have a copy of the game on PS4 and also a copy on the Epic Launcher on my PC. I can not figure out how you are supposed to start a private match between the 2. I linked a 2nd epic account to my playstation account and added the 2nd epic account as a friend to my first, main account.

The PC only seems to show friends added through Epic Accounts.

However the PS4 can only sign into the Epic Account if i run Fortnite, but won’t allow me to run PHC.
There is no Epic App for me to log into on the PS4 as far as I know…

Am I missing something? What am I supposed to do? Want to play a game with me and my friend from PC to PS4.

i got the game for the same reason and the epic game menu isnt even showing!!! its a real let down

Can you load up your pc account on ps4? Like stats and level you unlocked ?

Also have no idea how to get this functioning. Was trying to play with a friend on his PC earlier and no dice.
