PC vs ps4

There is no if and or buts about it

Drastic change in challenge facing a pc lobby compared to a ps4 lobby. To the point where the game is literally broken. (Please please please tell me otherwise pc players). Cannot wait to hear why this is okay or even something that is enjoyable from your playing perspective.

Any way to level the playing field?

Lesser spots? Allowing the predator to get within 10 feet of the fireteam within a given match?

Speaking from a lol 100 who’s has enough time playing this game.

I’m a long time PC player. PC gamers are usually older. And since they are, they take a game more serious. Like. WAY more serious. Like a job. I noticed that myself when I switched from console years ago. Plus, mouse and keyboard are superior to a controller when it comes to first person shooting. PC Fire Teams will be hella nasty.

Yeah. But there’s something to be said about a real challenge. Like, when you can hang with the PC boys. You really feel like you are truly talented. But some people buckle under the pressure.

It’s true - depending on the Predator, a PC lobby can shred the hunter pretty quick. That being said, I’ve been in a full PC Fireteam and we were absolutely decimated by a tactful console Predator. Sure, we got some shots in - I managed to snipe it’s mask off, but the Predz’ constant manoeuvring, setup of traps, plasma cannon barrage and net gun approach came out superior.

Once they set it up where PC Preds. can change their weapon keybinds. It’s gonna be really nasty…

PC is overrated and endangered, it all comes down to what you are more comfortable with really. PC players are very lazy (to many macros hacks etc) not to mention the boring no talent mechanics they have in a shooting type of game, point and click …when does that even begin to become interesting? My first love was my intellivision, I miss it so

I definitely noticed a marked difference in Fireteams when there are multiple PC players. The comms are usually a military exercise and I’m spotted the second I load in (at least it feels like it). It’s funny, I usually go entire matches without being spotted as Scout against PS4 players. Of course, I bought the game on PC so I can’t really turn off crossplay. I mean, I could if I wanted to be a real masochist and git gud in a hurry.

if you haven’t noticed 1st party games are starting to be released on PC more and more because both sony and microsoft are realizing the huge market that PC has, its definetly not endangered

if anything consoles are starting to become more and more like a PC

I quit using pc’s back in the mid 90s, ever notice how all the game commercials are marketed at console? Only thing that really saved PC gaming was gates dumping (and losing) a ton of cash trying to muscle in on the console market.

you quit mid 90s LOL you have no say towards PC now, Ever notice the game commercials marketed at console look so damn good then you get the game and it looks trash? Well thats because its actually shown from a PC you see and then they drop the quality for a console to run it.

If you wanna see how much they care about the consoles you have this very game as an example. PC players right now have a bit more advantage than console players in therms of optimization. Friend of mine on PS4 has shown me his gameplay and in some areas has horrible fps and the blur effect does not help in the slightest when hunting the FT. And it’s a Sony game, btw, the very parent company that owns and makes the Playstation gaming console. Now, I do hope that Illfonic is going to fix those performance issues (I have in good faith they will) among other things to turn the game more enjoyable to everyone, specially PS4 players, otherwise these arguments are gonna keep poping up.

The majority market or pc players (we are talking about gamers) are your younger generation, the ones who believe bells and whistles somehow make gaming excellent. It’s a generational thing I guess. Question why was this thread made in the first place? Why are these PC vs console ever made ? Elitism and moral superiority, we are all gamers why try to divide in the first place?

I had to turn off crossplay because of modders with snipers
Was jumping and leaping away from a couple of teams that hunted me and their sniper was always hitting my head no matter where or what I did and broke my mask in first 4 minutes because of it. I couldn’t even stop to shoot back or charge them with their grenade launchers
