Just tell them they’re not getting any decent ranged weapons for pred, 3v15, 2v6 w/e, city maps, aliens, or dogs so we can confine the discussion to just melee weapons & pretend to enjoy circular balance patches and shaders lol
What’s the point of saying you listen to feedback if you don’t respond to the same questions being asked over and over again for a year now?
Or even answer basic design questions like wtf is the point of wrist launcher?

Wrist launcher is what you use when the FT is trash and you want to play with your food.
Your feedback is not ignored but some suggestions are just extremely difficult to implement without creating further bugs or using more resources than we have. Remember that we have a very small dev team and fewer resources than larger studios. Others are not able to be implemented due to decision making beyond the dev team’s control.
As I’ve stated before multiple times, it’s extremely difficult to fix a bug without knowing the steps to reproduce it. If we don’t have that, it’s nearly impossible for us to even begin to fix it.
Also remember that whenever someone makes a suggestion, someone else voices the opposite opinion. Which are we supposed to listen to in that case?

Yes it is ignored, seriously you must know this.
What happened with posts regarding cosmetic graphical changes to some preds, so they can look more movie accurate? Posts that received massive positive feedback from the community? Those were not even acknowledged by you.
What happened with countless requests for 6 v 2 or 8 v 2 game modes? There has been dozens if not tens of those in the past two years?
What about community begging you for more than a year to increase pred gear items, for example add dogs or whatever just give him more gear to choose from?
@Kassinaillia, again, myself or anyone else on forums is not requiring you to follow every single instruction and fulfil every single request from us - that would be nonsense.
But stop saying that you are listening to us, because its quite frankly offending to all of us who had been here from the beginning - you are not, above examples are just few of many. For Christ sakes - its not even the fact you did not agree to those ideas - you didn’t even say no. Just point blankly ignored us.

See the rest of my post. It’s about scope and resources. The problem is we can’t ever definitively say no, as we’re not certain about what we are able and not able to do in the future, as is the case for many studios. We’d rather not make false promises or shut people down from continuing to ideate towards something we can end up implementing.
And my replying does not mean the threads with constructive feedback and replies don’t make it to others in the company.
I always read it all before answering ;-)
The problem is you are ignoring those ideas by not saying NOTHING at all - this is mine oand others point. Really, all you need to do is a simple “Thanks for idea guys, will be passed on but can’t promise anything - IP related bullshit, you know”
And that would stop me from bitching about Illfonic ignoring us.

Look at it this way: if IllFonic really didn’t care about your feedback or bug reports, I wouldn’t have been hired to begin with. One of my primary responsibilities is babysitting you all and making sure this forum is a place where we can actually get coherent info from players.

Not saying you are doing something wrong. Just saying that 90% of legit feedback provided by this forum was ignored, without any sort of response. That is a solid fact.
Apart from that all is good, game is still rolling, hopefully we will get some nice stuff in next dlcs. Whatever the future brings, there is no hope for past to change (quz our feedback is getting ignored (Jesus, I’m such a dick sometimes))

One last thing in regards to that – after CH was released there was some issues in regards to his look but main one was his funny looking, not movie accurate mask. I’ve remodelled CH mask so it looked movie accurate and not like it was a pump up balloon for a 5 year old birthday party. I have prepared the 3d mesh, made sure it fits all preds in game (at that time) After receiving positive feedback from community I’ve posted results on forums, announcing that I will provide this asset for free and without taking any credit (even send an email to Illfonic about that – with attached file), so Illfonic dose not have to waste resources on some nerdish cosmetic issues.
Needless to say - this was absolutely ignored, despite prompting forum mods for a response. So no – its not the resource scope – it looks like pure ignorance.
It’s also the fact you guys must do what Sony tells you to do in regards to this game. And I get it. I’ve stopped any efforts to correct things, look for better solutions. Its just… say something when somebody is posting a good idea with massive feedback behind it. A simple “Will pass on, but no promises” will do.
So you guys have no direction? No idea what you do or don’t want in the game? I recall someone over there posting that this game would be sticking to Earth so that at the very least lets us deduce what is and isn’t extremely unlikely. Kind of takes a game preserve map out of the question so we can set expectations and have a general idea of what your intention for the game is.
How about tell us what ideas are extremely unlikely if you don’t like the word No?

This is like if the DBD devs refused to have a stance & tell people “no we have no intention of adding a mode with multiple killers for the foreseeable future” and instead just kept encouraging people the flood the forum with the same requests.
They at the very least used their livestreams to explain what direction they were taking the game.
Whereas illfonic is saying their scope is so broad and undefined they have no idea what they won’t add or any kind of general design philosophy which is ridiculous.
