Everyone in the community only wants to play as the predator and not the fireteam and which is causing very long matchmaking queue times. So for people like myself that really wants to play as the predator more I can’t because I just don’t have the time to wait 20 minutes to find a match so I only get to play as the fireteam. So what I suggest is that you create a system where you only allow people to play as the predator a certain amount of times a day to allow others to be able to have their chance to play as the predator. This will also help balance both of players skills for both sides as a fireteam member or predator.
People only playing Predator should let others play
Like I said a million times before. No. You wanna play pred? Be patient and restart your que if it reaches 10 minutes. There are a lot of willing ft players are there. It seems to be more of a case with matchmaking being buggy.

Dont blame the players, blame the developers. OFCOURSE everyone wants to play as the pred, the game is based on it, not our fault the devs cant sort their shit out.
Ïts an 1vs4 pvp game, they will always have problems like this. If the limit the predator more than it already is, nobody is gonna keep playing this,period.

Because a lot of people want to play pred and whether or not that’s why the queue times are bad for that player slot, this is why games like this should have a long solo campaign as well as the multiplayer component. Also, I think even Evolve had AI bots for the fire team? If I remember right, least that kept things going for a little while…before it still ended up dying and being taken off the shelf for a few reasons… :( I liked the original evolve game…
Well, look on the bright side, it appears as tho ppl are enjoying playing as Predator as que times haven’t really dropped. If the Predator was as weak as so many here whine about, no one would want to play as him. We’d have a que similar to Dead by Daylight where very few ppl want to play as the Killer and most rather play survivor.
daily time caps to play as predator in a predator game people bought. sigh.
this is not the solution. if ever it does get implemented it will just be a bandaid fix ontop of the real issue which is fireteam is balls to play. waiting in the queue is alright because i can do other things. hell i can run another game while waiting. if i am forced to play subpar fireteam content to play the actual content i want (which only gets a pass for nostalgia reasons) just forget it .

I have to wait upto 20 mins to play pred too and so does everyone else.
i just accept its simple maths that there are 4x more fireteam needed… and accept the wait and get rewarded for my patience.
You can also just organise a private game with friends and rotate/take turns with pred.

@uk_spawn your answer is one of the best I’ve heard explained yet. The 3rd point you made is EXACTLY what my friends and relatives have been doing since release. Also we have gotten many others who have been joining us.
I understand peoples frustation with it. Id love to get endless predator matches in 1 min.
I respect people who play fireteam and some even prefer it and dont like predator much. we need more of those people, i hope the dutch DLC and things bring more players.
If not then they could always release a cut-down version of the game, that is really cheap and you can play a limited fireteam loadout, or maybe even free to play element to get randoms to play fireteam, it would also encourage them to get the game to get all the better guns and to play predator etc. it could help sell more copies by giving away a limited free version.
