I hate waiting for a game to start only to find half my team gone or to load as the predator to see 2 ft because they saw me as a zerker so i switch classes and guess what happens again same shit! There needs to some sort of punishment for ditching games if your on the ready up screen you jump out that’s fine you do it when the game is loading (cut scene) you should get a 15 mins cool down timer for being a dick and quitting for litetally being in the game 10 secs and going noooooo its a zerker they need nerfing! No you need to cut the shit end of. I Main Hunter class/Scout but i if i feel like i want to play a class i ahouldnt have to be worried about players leaving a game for fuck sake. Sorry for the rant just angers me to death!
Just had it again 4 ft on backwater 20 seconds into match only 1 left if its the map people we need to speak up and tell illfonic this map doesnt work for us take it out of rotation or take the percentage of that map being picked down i personally dont mind any of the maps as pred or ft i would re work the objectives of certain missions as they are called.

I go full roleplay with the last few. Scare the living shit out of them. They can’t win, so I better enjoy myself and give them the proper experience.
I gave up with the developers being unable to implement basic leaving penalties for quickplay. Just give FT members a 2-5 minute penalty after leaving before the end of the match. That will end that bullshit quickly. Kids don’t like waiting. You either ragequit properly and turn your entire game off. Or you accept your waiting penalty.
I would think that locking folks who quit during a match from re entering the queue until the original match has ended. Seems fair to me, and hopefully would not have a negative effect on the queues.
I do that all the time! Then I quickly switch it back on… I’m a sad man…
This is a problem in any game but it seems to happen more frequently in Asym type games. I see more rage quits in this, Friday the 13th and DbD than I do in all other MP games combined.
It’s definitely increased in this game though and mainly on the FT side. Which I predicted. Early on the game heavily favored the FT, as the Pred was a tad weak and had a steep learning curve. This gave the FT a false sense of accomplishment and skill as they won the majority of their encounters with the Other Worldly Life Form. Soon they weren’t just content with winning but they expected to win. Well two things have happened since, one the Predator has received some necessary buffs and more importantly the skill of Predator users has increased as they’ve learned his gameplay. A lot of ppl playing Fire Team haven’t caught on to this. They still expect to win against what they thought was easy prey. Now when they’re faced with real hunters, they can’t accept defeat because again, it’s unexpected.
It’s ultimately why I don’t think any major punishments are needed for those who rage quit(at the moment anyway) eventually they’ll realize where they stand and that fighting against the Predator is a worthy challenge and being killed by him is nothing to be ashamed of.
