For predator perks, is it true you can’t stack both fearless and downrange? Players have said in the past that if you stack these 2 together, one won’t work.
Perk stack
They work independently. One affects melee and the other projectiles. Having both won’t bypass the other, but they don’t buff the same thing anyway. I’ve used them both at the same time and never found one wasn’t working.
Though I don’t consider equipping both an optimal strategy, as for melee based approach you would want other perks that will make melee more viable, such as protection, adrenal boost, large pouch, medic. etc.
for ranged, probably dithered lens, modified reserve, etc.
this game doesn’t really have what it takes to make a versatile class. You have to choose either one approach or the other, and if you choose melee, pray you don’t get a good premade squad or you’ll get melted in seconds

Or knife spammed to death. Seems to be the thing lately is to chase Preds and spam the knife, which with the right perk and spec stacks can take away most of your health in just a few swings.

I mean you CAN make a hybrid build. It’s a little tricky though. I canr guarantee it’ll work against good PC premades but it slaps against console premades. Even Dante Dutch stacks. Only thing it doesn’t work on is SAWZ stacking, but then again, nothing really does.

Bow, Hook. You can swap for the combi too. As long as your melee choice deals high burst.
Traps help A LOT
Dithered Lens, Fearless, Large Pouch
He’s got the energy and Stamina to balance both playstyles but keep in mind how Fervent functions. I’d use the caster to whittle as much as possible and hit and run with the hook when opportunity arises. Obviously don’t try going in on more than 2 guys, try to keep track of active guns that provide immediate threats. I wouldn’t thirst downs unless it’s necessary.
Again, this does NOT work against good PC premades.
I mean, if is not against good premades, anything kinda works
Still for melee only, amazon+ghost+fearless with the sickle or hook and basically you’ll win every time unless you are truly dogshit. Even Sam admitted he’s getting tired of fighting against that build because no matter how good you are as FT, you won’t be able to out-damage the pred if you are alone with 3 potatoes

Yh way too many people do this & get deluded ego boosts from dopamine levels after killing potatoes in pubs.
I saw one guy (not putting names out there) title his video something along the lines of Best PS Wolf player and so I clicked on the video & what’s the first thing he does? Miss a Combi throw against some randoms in a pub match. He played overwhelmingly average against these potatoes to the point it was painful to watch for someone like me.
Fireteam players are like this too. Half the PS squads out there are just grenade & knife mashers who only run Dutch 87, Dante & Support, and they kill loads of newbie Predators, start feeling good about themselves, and then suddenly they run into a good Predator who doesn’t play into their bs & slaughters them. They go quiet so quickly it’s comical. It’s like their entire ego got shattered because their bubble got burst in a video game.
People get way too cocky over this game.

I mean idk who your friend is, but the guy I saw who uploaded said video has never seemed like a particularly toxic guy or anything like that, I just had to laugh at the video title in relation to the quality of gameplay I was seeing.

we have way too many people on this game making videos giving advise on how to “best” play the game when there’s only a few that actually have the proven record to do so, because they win constantly against the best of the best and others who have followed their advise have gotten better too.
But far too many people nowadays want to be a famous influencer. Is kinda funny that they trash hoes on social media and onlyfans for “not having a real job” while their aspirations are to have a YT channel with a million subs, lmao

i am definitely not the best predator but at least i have the courage to practice against people like slt_avp and alien_chevas
i post videos of random pubs vs potatos just for constant content and predator gameplay in general (which isn’t too common nowadays)
surprisingly i perform rather well using falconer in privates
oh yeah and @Anonymous.Voorhees13 @Madisyn_Skye i finally 100%ed spider man so ill be back in the jongo today hopefully

And yeah I get what you mean. People start making YT videos & suddenly think they’re automatically a proper youtuber or content creator & start thinking they’re better than everyone else regardless of how successful they are.

Yeah just keep going & don’t give up. You’ll get better & keep improving as you go along. Don’t be too bummed if you struggle to get some wins. We all know Fireteam is overpowered asf.

Nah, Falconer is basically just a better Scout that can carry Bear Traps & has Tracker spec.
I’ve managed to win a lot of tough games with him somehow in Privates. Even against Dantes etc.
Mr Black is definitely better than Falconer, but yes his movement speed is his main disadvantage. If you can get used to it, and remember to play it smart though, Mr Black can be a very powerful class. Vicious is also a very underrated specialisation. It’s not meta per say, but it is criminally underrated. Once you get someone down, they are almost certainly going to die. The trouble is obviously getting people down in the first place.

Yeah, if you’re looking for a build with maximum damage output, I’d recommend either Celtic Assassin or Wolf Assassin with Down Range.
If you manage to land a direct hit with a fully charged Plasma Caster shot in the back, it will one-shot pretty much any class. If you hit them in the back with a Combi throw or the Smart Disc it will also deal a lot of damage & you can get some quick downs with it. Especially if you catch people out of position, off-guard, or catch them in a Bear Trap which allows you to position yourself to attack them from behind.
